Revealing mistake: As Will and Jack walk along the street, out of NBC, they stop and Will says "Once you have a weatherman on your sideĀ…." you can see people across the street staring at the crew and actors, and one man even takes a photo. (00:16:55)

Continuity mistake: The position of the high heels in the barrel, in the church bazaar differ greatly between shots as Karen enters the room, up to when she walks over to find her slingbacks. No-one else touched the shoes in between. They also change position as Karen kindly gives Sally some extra money. (00:57:25)

Continuity mistake: When Will and Grace sneak into Val's apartment to look for the music box, the number on the door is 12E. However, in Season 1, 'Grace Replaced', when Val and Will are talking in the elevator, she says she moved into 15F.

Continuity mistake: When Ben is mixing the salad with Karen, Karen walks away, and one of the wooden spoons they were mixing with falls onto the worktop. In a following shot the spoon has suddenly jumped back into the bowl so that there are two in the bowl, then in a later shot the spoon vanishes once again. (00:54:25)

Revealing mistake: After the opening credits there is a shot showing the house on the island where Karen and Stan live. If you look at the hanging chair, you can see that Karen is sitting in it. But in the very next shot she is in a meeting with Will, in a different outfit. This is a re-used shot from the previous season, which shouldn't be there. (00:04:20)

Question: This is a question without a knowable answer. But I wonder if anyone has thoughts as to why we hear nothing of Elliot's mother? Jack and Elliot are estranged. Elliot's mother, Bonnie (originally played by Rosie O'Donnell), acknowledged to Jack that she is a lesbian in the original run of the series. So, when Elliot marries a conservative woman, moves to Texas, and makes plans to send his gay son to a gay conversion camp, where is Bonnie in all of this?
