Corrected entry: Season 4 and Season 5 are set 18 months apart (a year and a half). It is summer in Season 4, which indicates it will be Winter in Season 5, but it is still the Summer.
Corrected entry: At about 6:10 or 6:11, after Teri gets out of "Alan"'s car and runs up the hill, Alan pulls the keys out and opens the door while the car is still beeping. The beeping should have stopped when he took the keys out of the ignition.
Correction: The beeping doesn't start when he pulls out the keys, but when he openes the door. When he closes it, the beeping stops. This means it is the warning that the lights aren't turned off.
Day 4: 9:00 P.M.-10:00 P.M. - S4-E15
Corrected entry: Audrey came to CTU after Chloe had been let go. Yet in this episode they both know each other by their first names.
Correction: Audrey is the Secretary of Defence's daughter and they may have come across each other in the time before the 4th day starts. This could explain how they know each others first name. We just don't know it.
Day 4: 3:00 P.M.-4:00 P.M. - S4-E9
Corrected entry: When Jack enters the hospital he speaks to an officer. The officer tells him there's been a shooting. After this conversation Jack calls Tony, telling him Navi killed his wife's brother. How does he know the killed person was Dina's brother?
Correction: Dina told Jack that Behrooz was at the hospital earlier in the episode, and informed him that her brother had worked there.
Day 4: 9:00 P.M.-10:00 P.M. - S4-E15
Corrected entry: In the opening summary Jack is shown telling Audrey that "It happened so fast, [Paul] was hit before I had a chance to react" in the episode before. We saw their whole conversation in that episode and this line was never spoken.
Correction: The "Previously On 24" opening segments frequently use footage that was not actually seen on-screen during an episode. It's usually of things that happened during the commercial break or when some other location or event was on-screen.
Day 4: 8:00 P.M.-9:00 P.M. - S4-E14
Corrected entry: From the time Michelle calls Chloe till Chloe shows up at CTU with changed clothes and fresh make-up only seven minutes pass on the show. That wouldn't be possible even if she lived next door.
Correction: Actually, many women can change clothes and do make-up in remarkably fast time, especially at times of great crisis, in which this would apply. It was previously established that Chloe does live close and is a highly dedicated and loyal employee making this is indeed possible.
Day 4: 10:00 P.M.-11:00 P.M. - S4-E16
Corrected entry: Airforce One was chased and shot down by an F-117A stealth bomber by a disgruntled marine aiding the terrorists. The F-117 is not a stealth fighter. It carries Air-ground missiles and air-ground bombs but it cannot be modified to carry air-air missiles due to its down looking radar (which is probably why no missile type was named specifically).
Correction: I am a pilot in the Air Force and I know for a fact that an F-117A is a stealth fighter, and is absolutely capable of launching air-to-air missiles.
10:00 P.M.-11:00 P.M. - S1-E23
Corrected entry: In the first series, the terrorists give Jack a telephone and ask him to kill the senator before they'll tell him where Kim is. They tell him they'll ring that phone at exactly 10:45pm. When Jack gets to the senators suites it's around 10:20pm, the terrorists telephone shortly after he arrives. For all they know he could still be en route to the hotel so why were they so quick off the mark?
Correction: It's actually about 10:30 or so. And the Drazens know Jack, and they know he'll do anything to save Kim, so they're certain that Jack will be with Palmer when they call.
Corrected entry: When the series was shown on the U.K., all references that "events occur in real-time" were omitted, as the BBC does not have adverts during or between programs. The only exceptions are the first few episodes of series 1 (probably because no-one realised it wasn't accurate), and the first episode of series 2, shown without adverts in the US and hence a full real-time hour in both countries.
Correction: Not quite true. Although the first episode of season two in the USA was shown without commercial interruption, there were long Ford ads before AND after the episode and a promo for "John Doe" and scenes for the next episode making it 51:43. A shorter version shown in reruns is 43:56. See http://www.tv.com/24/day-2-800-a.m.-900-a.m./episode/161143/trivia.html.
Day 4: 1:00 A.M.-2:00 A.M. - S4-E19
Corrected entry: The last thing we saw at the end of the previous episode was Jack knocking out the terrorist suspect, who was tied up in the van outside CTU, before the clock ticked to 1am. At the beginning of this episode, which supposedly picks up the instant the previous one ends, the terrorist is in CTU medical receiving treatment. and he's fully conscious.
Correction: At least 2 minutes passes between the end of an episode and the start of the next one, every time. More then enough time passed to allow the changes you described to happen.
Day 4: 6:00 A.M.-7:00 A.M. - S4-E24
Corrected entry: Marwan's hi-tech gadget which he uses to track the path of his missile (the 'interface' of which CTU later reads to locate said rocket) is quite obviously a Nokia 7710. I don't remember seeing 'Nuclear Warhead Locator' listed in the special features of this model.
Correction: Like all new Nokia mobiles, one of key features of the 7710 is that it is Java enabled. This means any Java application can be programmed and loaded onto the phone. It is very possible one of Marwan's men programmed a tracking program for that phone.
10:00 P.M.-11:00 P.M. - S1-E23
Corrected entry: If the movie Air Force One can be a guide, it was impossible for Mitch Anderson to shoot down the president's plane this easily. Air Force One has countermeasures to elude missiles targeting it and this is now shown in the show. Also, once the President found out about the imminent attack on Air Force One he would have been escorted to his escape pod.
Correction: The movie Air Force One is not a good guide. It has been stated many times that the plane does not have an escape pod in real life.
Day 3: 4:00 A.M.-5:00 A.M. - S3-E16
Corrected entry: Michelle and her staff sealed the hotel to keep the virus inside. But when the angry guest smashes the door to get out (so Michelle has to shoot him) no-one acts to seal the broken door. (00:59:00)
Correction: Viruses are very fragile and the reason the hotel was contained was not to keep the virus itself in but to keep all the guests in. They seal it off camera, though, to keep the guests from trying to escape that way.
Day 2: 9:00 A.M.-10:00 A.M. - S2-E2
Corrected entry: Jack flies by helicopter to meet Joseph Wald's crew accompanied by Michelle. A few moments after he is dropped off by the helicopter he calls CTU. Miraculously Michelle has already arrived back at CTU and is working on her computer.
Correction: After the helicopter drops him off, Jack calls CTU and talks to Mason. Michelle doesn't appear at all during this conversation. Michelle does appear later when George heads down to the main floor; it's possible that she returned to the office during George's conversation with Jack.
Corrected entry: Throughout this show, it is apparently possible to drive between any two locations in the Los Angeles area within half an hour. It takes Jack approximately half an hour to drive from the downtown train station where he sees Khalil lead Andrew away to isolated areas that seem to be at the edge of the city (we hear it is Ventura County). Even if the streets were empty, the Los Angeles area is large enough that this would not be possible in real life.
Correction: The producers always made a huge point about being accurate about distances and time, and it is doubtful that they dropped this for season 4. The trainstation in question is not the central city's central station, but one of the suburbs.
Corrected entry: It is not clear what time during the year this particular day takes places. It is a weekday, which we know the office in which Jack secures the override device from Habib is filled with workers. However, neither Behrooz nor Debbie go to school. It cannot be summertime because the sun sets before 7PM which is not realistic. At the same time, there is a school bus in the scene where Jack is following the terrorist Khalil toward the location where Heller and Audrey are being held hostage. If its during spring or winter break the bus would not be there.
Correction: Private schools and public schools can have spring break on different dates. And school buses can be used for organized trips, not necessarily on days when school is in session. There is not enough in this submission to justify that a mistake was made.
Day 3: 11:00 A.M.-12:00 P.M. - S3-E23
Corrected entry: Why is the subway running when Palmer has ordered all public transportation to be shut down?
Correction: Jack said that he didn't want the subway trains to be shut down because that would tip Arthur Rabens off.
Day 3: 6:00 A.M.-7:00 A.M. - S3-E18
Corrected entry: Chappelle is married (notice the ring), so why would he say he has no family?
Day 2: 6:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M. - S2-E11
Corrected entry: When Kate exits the mosque after identifying Syed Ali, she runs into Jack who promptly calls her Marie.
Day 2: 12:00 Noon-1:00 P.M. - S2-E5
Corrected entry: When Gary meets Kim in the hospital his clothes are completely unblemished despite the fact that only one hour previously he had murdered his wife quite brutally and dumped her body in the trunk of his car.
Correction: He could have worn other clothes when he killed her.
Correction: The show takes place in Los Angeles. It is winter right now, and it's been very sunny during this time. We've only had rain two times this year, and it's been around 60ºF and above, up to almost 80ºF.
