Corrected entry: In episode three, Carentan, during the first battle in the city. Watch the part where two soldiers go in the house with the backyard shed (right before the same house gets bombed). Paranoid, one of the two soldiers shoots the backyard shed twice over a period of about 5 seconds. Well in his first shot, one bullet hole appears. In his second shot, two bullet holes appear. How can one bullet make two holes?
Correction: His suspicions of someone being in the shed is true. When he fires for the second time he hits someone and their jerk reactions return fire.
Corrected entry: In the episode, "Zero Hour," T'Pol says in her Starlog that the date is February 14, 2152. This episode takes place in 2154.
Correction: Character flaw: Even though a Vulcan, T'Pol can still make mistakes. The confusing Earth calendar is probably what prompted Starfleet to eventually adopt the stardate system.
Foul Balled / The Boy Who Would Be Queen - S2-E7
Corrected entry: If Timmy wishes that his friend were the best baseball player ever, shouldn't Chester go back to being the best baseball player ever when he and Timmy make up?
Correction: The wish was canceled completely, so it would never come back again.
10:00 P.M.-11:00 P.M. - S1-E23
Corrected entry: In the first series, the terrorists give Jack a telephone and ask him to kill the senator before they'll tell him where Kim is. They tell him they'll ring that phone at exactly 10:45pm. When Jack gets to the senators suites it's around 10:20pm, the terrorists telephone shortly after he arrives. For all they know he could still be en route to the hotel so why were they so quick off the mark?
Correction: It's actually about 10:30 or so. And the Drazens know Jack, and they know he'll do anything to save Kim, so they're certain that Jack will be with Palmer when they call.
Corrected entry: When David and Dawn are talking at the reception desk, you can see Gareth and Tim talking in the background. Yet a few shots later, Gareth is arriving at work for the first time carrying his suitcase and newspaper.
Correction: The show is supposed to be a documentary. The shot in which David explains that he has worked at Wernham Hogg for 8 years then introduces Dawn to the crew/ audience, would probably be used before a shot introducing two new characters the audience hadn't 'met' yet. This can be put down to an editorial decision by the (fictional) documentary makers, not the 'real' editors.
My Day Off - S1-E9
Corrected entry: When J.D. has his appendectomy, Turk is cutting on his left side. The appendix is on the right side of the body. Ironically, J.D. is commenting in the voice-over about what a great surgeon Turk is.
Correction: About one in 10,000 people have 'situs inversus', a total reversal of their organs. In such a case, the appendix would be on the left. See here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Situs_inversus
Corrected entry: Lionel calls his company Lexcorp, however in subsequent episodes it is renamed to LuthorCorp.
Correction: Lionel's company is LutherCorp. Lex's company is LexCorp.
Corrected entry: Aetius was in real life a very respected general, not a scheming opportunist who regains his lost reputation through questionable means.
Correction: It's a fact Aetius supported the usurper Johannes against Placidia, the baby Valentinian and Theodosius in 423. When Johannes was executed, Aetius used his army of mercenary Huns to become comes (count) of Gaul. In 432 Placidia fired him, after which he fled back to the Huns and their king Ruga, who provided him with an army. With this army he regained his position, personnally killing his rival Bonifatius in a duel. So I think the movie is quite accurate in pointing out Aetius had a darker side to him.
Corrected entry: When taking information from the server, they're warned not to touch it as it's alarmed, so they have to use a wireless connection. However, when the rope supporting Sydney gives way, she reaches out and holds herself up on the server for a split second before the shot cuts and she's hauled to safety, but nothing happens.
Correction: The server may have been "alarmed" in a different sense to alarms screaming - the laptop got "pulsed", which could have been a part of the alarm response, plus, the negative noise gadgets Marshall gave them would have cancelled any audible alarm that may have been going off - hence why no-one ran in when the alarm sounded.
Corrected entry: It is often mentioned that Janet and Jonny were together at school, yet in "When Janet Met Jonny" they supposedly meet for the first time in a nightclub.
Correction: "When Janet Met Jonny" at the end of series 3 was one of two "special" spin-off episodes that may well not be canon with the rest of the series. The other "special" episode was at the end of series 6, in which all the main characters died, yet they were all alive and well for series 7. If the events of "When Janet Met Jonny" were referenced in any other episode then this may be a valid mistake, but as it is, the episode can be considered non-canon.
Corrected entry: In the beginning when it is showing us the end of series 1, it shows us the car (which Jerry and Brian was in) drive past the club (when it is on fire) we hear Brian shout "Jerry, the club's on fire." but at the end of series 1 when the same footage is showed nothing is said and it goes into the end credits.
Correction: The makers did this because they didnt know if the program was going to be a hit or not. so they added it in later when series 2 came.
Corrected entry: There has only been one charcter that has been in every episode, and that is Emma Nelson (Miriam McDonald).
Correction: This is not true; I have watched episodes in which she is not featured.
Corrected entry: Episode 21, Season 3: Cirque des Merveilles. When Jesse is woken up in the middle of the night, he goes into the main hall of Sanctuary and is shirtless. He has no visible marks from being shot and operated on only 3 episodes earlier.
Correction: We don't know how much time has passed between episodes. It could have been weeks or months and therefore the wound would have healed.
Corrected entry: When Jimmy and Brad are talking to Emma (the deaf girl) near the end of the episode, Brad translates Emma's sign language for Jimmy, but when Jimmy talks, Brad makes no hand signs for Emma. Therefore, she shouldn't be able to understand what Jimmy is saying, yet she replies. She can't be lip-reading, or else she would have understood what Lily or Henry was saying upstairs in Jimmy's room (you could see from her reactions that she didn't understand either of them).
Correction: Jimmy was speaking slowly and saying it so she could easily read his lips, Lily and Henry were talking to fast for her.
Corrected entry: The show is set in Houston. Reba and Brock have Texas accents, but Cheyenne, Kyra and Jake, their children, do not.
Correction: Reba and Brock were raised in a small town while their children have been raised in a big city. Houston has a huge proportion of people from all over and people tend to develop less of accent there. Also, modern children tend to have less of an accent than their parents in general due to the influence of the constant exposure to the "standard" accent on TV.
II (The Samurai called Jack) - S1-E2
Corrected entry: If Aku is from Japan, and he enslaved the earth thousand of years ago, then why is he eating hamburgers on the billboards? There's no way he would tolerate an invention of any kind (even if it was just a hamburger) because he'd see the creation as a threat to his rule.
Correction: If he would see any inventions as a threat to his rule, where did all that technology come from? He must approve of at least some inventions, and why would new food items threaten him? Anyway, if Aku is promoting hamburgers he must approve of them, and maybe he even invented them himself.
Corrected entry: On the Hogmanay special of "Still Game," in Victor's flat, you can see that he has double-glazed windows which weren't made back in the 70s.
Correction: My house was built in 1968 and guess what? It has the original double glazing.
Correction: For anyone who has ever fired a semi-automatic rifle, they would know that one can fire 3 shots and it can sound like 2 due to the speed of the firing. Also as with most other guns occassional additional fire can happen when the trigger is pulled. This is referred to as trigger bounce.
