In an interior shot of the patrol car, supposedly fast driving down the streets of Manhattan, the pedals of the car are visible in the left part of The Frame; there's no foot on the accelerator. Revealing mistake: When Kojak drives to the store where the hostage situation takes place, the side mirror of the interior view does not match the car he arrives in. The footage is also noticeably sped up at the last turn, when he passes by a Delicatessen window and a Rent-a-car sign. (00:09:30)

Revealing mistake: The first time we see Ferro's hot wife is through the photos he keeps in his locker at the station. In the scene in front of the locker, you can see his wristwatch. It's about 5 past 10. Later, we learn that the murder happened at half past 10. The locker scene is supposed to happen well after Ferro committed the murder. (00:09:15)
