I Can't Play - S2-E7
Other mistake: Misaki dispossesses Akira Ichinose with an aerial tackle (which would be illegal anyway, since he's by every mean doing a flying kick at an opponent), but for that to happen the way it is shown, the player already must have lost control of the ball, since Misaki 's foot is hooking a ball situated behind the back leg of Ichinose. It's not what it is supposed (and described) to happen. (00:15:20)
Other mistake: Sanada passes the ball to Honma as per Misugi's instructions. Honma gets it and runs...in the opposite direction, towards his own goal! Somehow it is the right direction, though. (00:13:20)
I Can't Play - S2-E7
Other mistake: Tsubasa is way behind Misaki and coming in at a slower speed, but somehow Misaki throws a deep ball to him - and Tsubasa almost catches it! It's impossible to do that in the way shown. (00:13:20)
Other mistake: All of a sudden and with no explanation, in this episode the coach and the cheerleading team have things like whistles and megaphones that they never brought to matches before and didn't have when the match was underway in the previous episodes. (00:05:55)
Other mistake: Only one of the keepers from Meiwa FC appears in the episode; Wakashimazu replaced another one who is nowhere to be seen.
Other mistake: Jun's parents can't see the kids by the goal, only their shadows, but they are positively unfazed when Tsubasa is celebrated loudly and dangerously acting as substitute for him (which is the reason why Tsubasa is replacing Jun in the celebration to begin with).
Other mistake: In the previous episode it was established that the final takes place the day after the semifinals. The kids went right away to the hospital and talked about the match against Musashi, wearing normal clothes, and had a night adventure searching the town left and right. In this episode another day passes by before the final.
Other mistake: When Tsubasa is staring at Urabe running in the distance, Urabe's hair is see-through in some shots and you can see the shape of his skull (or at least a glowing circular spot that appears in some frames only). (00:11:05)
Other mistake: When Misugi is on the ground in pain after Tsubasa's equalizer, one of the forwards is watching him, but the number 10 on his jersey is transparent. (00:09:25)
Other mistake: After the lengthy recap of the previous episode, Misugi is facing Teppei Kisugi, but the football shrinks during their struggle, being at one point smaller than the 10-year old's foot. (00:03:20)
The Brave Fighters from the North - S2-E2
Other mistake: In the stands, Wakashimazu is witnessing the match wearing his team uniform, spoiling the surprise since he has not officially joined the team, and he was not wearing them previously, in fact he went into the crowd without them. (00:03:05)
Encounters in Semi-Final - S2-E1
Other mistake: At the end of the match that Misugi singlefootedly turns around for his team scoring 4 goals in 15 minutes, the TV commentator praises his skill dubbing him "Field prince." In his internal monologue, Hyuga takes exception...so he is responding to something spoken on TV and that he couldn't hear since he's on the pitch. (00:07:10)
Other mistake: The play that ends with the aerial challenge between Musashi's forward and Mamoru Izawa does not make sense, since it happens in the penalty area, which would need to be enormous to allow long range passes and lengthy runs. It was meant to start in the midfield and not in the penalty box, obviously.
Other mistake: The first time we see Matsuyama ready for the penalty kick, the ball is noticeably too far back, not at all on the penalty spot. (00:11:55)
The Brave Fighters from the North - S2-E2
Other mistake: Matsuyama after the second foul rallies the others saying that they will win, all 11 of them. And he says so to his...8 teammates. (00:21:50)
The Brave Fighters from the North - S2-E2
Other mistake: When Matsuyama is taking the penalty, Meiwa's keeper is wearing the jersey number 11 in the wide shot, 1 as normal as Matsuyama scores. (00:11:15)
