Tsubasa's Resurrection - S2-E8

Character mistake: Roberto says that Misugi already "peaked as a player" as opposed to Tsubasa who can improve. Since he does not know of Misugi's heart condition, the notion that a football player reached already his full potential when he is barely 11 years old is nonsense.

A Wounded Prince - S2-E4

Character mistake: The characters keep referring to this match as Jun Misugi's last, hoping he'll win it, but Meiwa is an opponent just as fierce as Nankatsu, so even if Misugi beat Tsubasa, he would need to play still one more match. It's Misugi's last only if he loses (as in fact happens, but they can't know that).

A Wise Decision - S2-E12

Character mistake: In the Italian dub, Hyuga mentions the lesson he learned from "Julian Ross" (Jun Misugi). He never played against him or his team, and was even in a coma during their match. He meant "Philip Callahan" (Hikaru Matsuyama). (00:13:35)

I Can't Play - S2-E7

Character mistake: Tsubasa loses the ball botching the control with his chest, and the announcer says that Nankatsu is in danger, caught by surprise and need to pull back. As he says that, the images show 5 defenders perfectly placed in the penalty area and the team not off balance at all. (00:14:00)

Where Is the Rival? - S1-E5

Trivia: When Sanae starts waving the flag she made for Tsubasa, in the background you can see a couple of grossly disproportional characters most likely drawn as a joke by some animator, and even the Road Runner. (00:14:55)
