Other mistake: The tryout match happens on a field with no audience at all. Hyuga just lies there on a bench without anyone saying anything to him. Both the coach and Misaki know who he is, but nobody noticed him when he was a hugely conspicuous presence. Of course his interference in the match is pure anime silliness; nobody bats an eyelid during his invasion, and he fetches the ball from the forward unnoticed, coming from the opposite goal area.

Other mistake: The perspective when Mr. Ozora tells Tsubasa "I'll let you go to Brazil" is wrong; it looks like he's standing right in front of him, but he's on the bleachers. (00:04:50)

Other mistake: Morisaki is the substitute keeper, but he has the number 1 jersey (See next episode for an explanation about this part being prolly a mere continuity error). He also did not appear in the tryouts or the previous matches. He is wearing the Nankatsu Elementary school jersey but it's supposed to be a different character from that keeper - incidentally, in the match against Shuutetsu that keeper did at least a great save, better than anything Morisaki is able to do in these early episodes.
Other mistake: Wakabayashi and Ishizaki are shown in this episode as the only 2 players on the bench. The team is formed by 15 players, there should be another 2 subs. (00:04:00)
Other mistake: When Genzo browses the coach notes and figures out instantly what should have been obvious to anyone (the opponent never conceded any goal, that is no small detail!), the way the action of the opponent is shown, both attackers were in offside. (00:11:55)
Other mistake: Nankatsu doesn't get a corner kick after the keeper fumbled the ball and a midfielder headed it past the line.
Other mistake: When the Shimada players listen to the pep talk from their number 10, their jerseys just go crazy; some have written "Shimada" on it, but some others "Shimad" and there's a guy with just "SHIMA" on it. (00:05:00)
Other mistake: Manabu loses his glasses; Sanae hits him with her flag, but the action is animated incorrectly, and he goes down without the pole connecting. (00:09:10)
Other mistake: When Nankatsu scores their third goal, several Shimada players (two during Morisaki's passage and then the keeper when he turns around to see the ball into the goal) sport jerseys with the wrong team name, "SIMADA", missing an H. (00:09:30)
Other mistake: The animation of the team laughing at Ryo's joke about scoring 10 goals is botched to the point of the players basically convulsing. (00:12:55)
Other mistake: If Meiwa scored already 10 goals the previous year (when the championship was won by Shuutetsu) it is hard to explain how nobody from Shuutetsu knew about Hyuga, since they were serious contenders. (00:13:40)
Other mistake: Wakabayashi throws the ball to his teammates leading to the hat-trick; the ball in that shot is of the wrong size, almost twice as big as Genzo's head. (00:18:50)

Other mistake: 15 players were picked for the team. Genzo is injured, 11 are playing. Three are MIA with no explanation. Morisaki has to parry 10 shots for every other player, he parries 100 total. Ryo Ishizaki though is still a substitute, so that would mean there's the unexplained absence of even one more team regular.

Other mistake: The whole team is supposed to be at the opening ceremony, but only 9 players are in the group. Ishizaki in the bathroom, but still there are people missing. (00:12:00)
Other mistake: Hyuga comfortably catches with his chest a free kick that for no reason seems to have basically lost any strength and speed between shots. (00:09:30)
Other mistake: Behind Ishizaki on the bench as he incites Tsubasa in the last action of the episode, Manabu's legs and feet do not link correctly (something went wrong in the drawing, he's sockless all of a sudden and the ankles are much wider than the feet). (00:19:25)
