Continuity mistake: For some reason, the eyes of Phoenix's mask keep a coherent shape throughout the first part of his appearance - can't expect millimetre precision, but definitely consistent.Then he hits Shun from the Gold Cloth stand, and the eye slits become way more rounded and not resembling the ones from the beginning of the scene at all. Other mistake: Pegasus and Dragon arrive at the arena, ringside. Close-up on Shun who looks fiercely at the source of the danger; in this shot there's a double coloring error, since he lacks the vertical stripe on the helmet, and the collar of his armor is flesh-colored. (00:15:00)

Once Shiryu enters the room, there's a wall lamp and the space is narrower, the box is smaller and changes color to blue/grey. (00:02:30 - 00:08:40)

Plot hole: Shiryu tells Seiya that he had a feeling that someone was watching them from the shadows "ever since our fight ended." That makes no sense, since he was comatose (and he says himself that Shunrei had to tell him what happened). In the manga, he says that he had this feeling since the tournament began, which makes much more sense (plus Phoenix does not show up at that specific time being detected by the Andromeda chain). Continuity mistake: Miho puts in the vase only purple flowers. When Shiryu visits Seiya, behind her and the kids you can see a multicolored bouquet. (00:03:00)

Other mistake: When a wobbly Pegasus is charged by Miho's presence and is about to strike, for some reason Shun is drawn in a way that makes it look like he's carrying Shiryu (he faces the same direction) rather than holding him still. (00:19:40)

Plot hole: Miho is watching the match at home, and it is day - the kids in the previous episode also entered the Dome when it was afternoon, and a clock at their place when they watched the first of Seiya's fights showed it was 4 pm. Yet she takes a taxi for the arena when it's dark outside.
