The Day It All Came Together - S1-E20
Continuity mistake: Magnum and Higgins are traveling in the Ferrari going home. Magnum's wristwatch says it is 9:35. They go home, Magnum gets arrested by the Secret Service, is taken for an interrogation, is taken to a house where they find some counterfeit money and two bodies. Magnum is released and stays at the house with HPD, and then he and Higgins go back to the car and they leave. According to Magnum's wristwatch, only ten minutes have elapsed. (00:09:00)
The Day It All Came Together - S1-E20
Continuity mistake: While in the car with Higgins on the way home, Magnum's wristwatch says 9:45. He gets home and finds Hannah in the guest house. His wristwatch now says it is 9:17. (00:11:30)
Continuity mistake: In one scene a police car (number 412) is T-boned in the right rear quadrant. A spin shot of the car shows that quadrant dented and scraped. In a later scene the same police car driven by TC makes a left turn. There are no dents or scratches on the car. (00:33:00 - 00:34:15)

Factual error: A UH-1H army helicopter is shown. It has civilian markings, not military. (00:23:50)
Factual error: When Magnum has his US Navy white uniform on, his Armed Forces Expeditionary Service Ribbon is shown upside down. And beards are not allowed. (00:41:05)
Continuity mistake: Higgins says "What if it didn't?" once she is free; she touches her forehead, the camera cuts away, and she is repeating the gesture in a separate shot. (00:33:15)
Continuity mistake: Magnum bursts into John Black's apartment;he explains to him that Katya sent him, and the man lowers his hands. They are back up in the reverse shot that follows. (00:17:05)
The Cat Who Cried Wolf - S1-E7
Plot hole: Magnum finds the cat with the bloodied paws. He takes the cat home, arranges with Higgins what to do, brings it back where he found it, and tails it for "over an hour", Higgins says. Finally finds where it came from, and in the house there's a corpse. Shenanigans ensue, Magnum comes back with the police to a now empty house and he tells to Katsumoto that it was not empty "a couple hours ago" and is amazed at how quickly and efficiently the bad guys must have cleaned. The problem is; later we see through the security cameras what happened, and how Max the cat got the blood on its paws. Supposedly the villain did an ultra-efficient job cleaning everything up after Magnum's visit...but what about before? Magnum arrived a good 2 hours after the homicide. What on Earth did the killer do during that time? The dead guy was still lying around in a pool of blood, and the bad guy hadn't even picked up his own ski mask! Forget it. He did not even close the front door.
Sudden Death - S1-E5
Other mistake: During the game at the beginning of the episode, the opposing team (the Pearl City Chargers, white and purple) fields at least two players with the same jersey number 12. The kid protagonist runs past a guy with number 12 at he starts his run, and then dodges another two in front of him, who are present in the same shot - it's not a matter of editing/continuity, at least in that second shot. Character mistake: When they are at the docks/harbor and they capture the person who poisoned the guy that hired Magnum, Higgins tells him if he resists, Magnum will shoot him. She says he has 16 bullets, but he's carrying a 1911 and the most it will have is 10 rounds.
