Continuity mistake: Higgins shows Magnum the phone with Katya in the eye of the camera; her pinky finger is right at the angle of the phone in the frontal view, closer to the other fingers in the reverse shot. (00:01:55)
Continuity mistake: Katya meets Magnum at the beginning of the episode. She sits on the couch in the wide shot, and the couch is strongly sunlit. The natural light in the rest of the scene is much softer and barely noticeable. (00:02:15)
Continuity mistake: The two guys who stalk Magnum take off and almost run him over. You can see them drive down a road as Magnum tumbles on the asphalt to avoid them. Then Magnum gets up, has a little exchange with Rick as they both gingerly hobble towards the car, and he finally starts it and drives off...and in the 10 seconds this takes, the car is still basically at the same spot as before. Continuity mistake: The car chase opens with the 2 cars driving past a Walmart, with the sign distinctly visible. A minute later, when the police joins in and Magnum says "Maybe not", the cars speed past the same Walmart as if they drove in circle. (00:07:40)
Continuity mistake: Magnum bursts into John Black's apartment;he explains to him that Katya sent him, and the man lowers his hands. They are back up in the reverse shot that follows. (00:17:05)
Continuity mistake: Magnum has been talking with Higgins (and then with the home invaders) through the phone placed in the dashboard. When Sergei carjacks him, he's lucky enough to have his phone in the back pocket of his pants. (00:22:00)
Continuity mistake: Higgins says "What if it didn't?" once she is free; she touches her forehead, the camera cuts away, and she is repeating the gesture in a separate shot. (00:33:15)
