Continuity mistake: By the sinister pit in the middle of the island, Lombard asks Blore; "Ever had a feeling you've been hunted?" Blore with the camera at a certain distance listens with his hand on the hip, in close-up he has both arms loose along his sides. (00:12:00)

Continuity mistake: Blore smells that the doctor has been drinking and tells him it's early to be "on the sauce." The doctor in his reaction puts his fingers under his chin in close-up, but in the shot before and after his fingers are on the cheek. (00:15:30)

Deliberate mistake: When the judge shoots himself, the revolver slides across the table, to fake his murder by someone else. But there is no mechanism in place that explains how he does this, making it appear as if he is able to accurately throw/slide the gun after shooting himself. In the original novel, he used a rubber band to achieve the effect, but he is not shown setting it up here.
