Factual error: The memory Jane has of the man who takes away all her memories holds a butterfly needle to Jane's arm. The butterfly needle is called that because it has 2 wings and a body in the middle. To use this needle properly, the person takes both wings up together to be able to slide the small needle in, but the person we see using it, doesn't do this - he holds the needle behind the 2 wings and then inserts it. Also, this needle is far too small to handle the bag of drug-filled fluid that is intended for Jane's arm.
Continuity mistake: When Jane is being told by Mayfair that she can carry a weapon, she has a scar over her left eye. In the next scene, which follows immediately, the scar has gone. (00:50:00)
Continuity mistake: The semi that is hooked up to the the trailer hauling the DEA guns is not the same semi that is hooked up to the trailer when it explodes.

Scientists Hollow Fortune - S1-E12

Regard a Mere Mad Rager - S2-E19
Continuity mistake: When Reade is in Weller's office, his face is still pretty bruised, especially around his left eye and cheek, from the drug dealers beating him. When he's talking to Zapata outside of Weller's office, his face isn't as bruised up.
Continuity mistake: When Shepherd spots Jane and Kurt on the security camera, they're both walking past a set of doors. Two shots later, they walk past the same set of doors again.
Character mistake: Congressman Weitz tells the FBI task force that Kazahrus is an "absolute monarchy." Director Hirst interrupts him to state that this means "the order of succession is based solely on heredity," which she implies is well-known to students of civics. An absolute monarchy is one where the monarch's powers are unrestricted (such as by legislative or judicial branches of government). Hirst is describing a hereditary monarchy, but not all hereditary monarchies are absolute (for example, England's constitutional monarchy is hereditary), nor are all absolute monarchies hereditary (the Vatican's elective monarchy is absolute). What Hirst says is true of Kazahrus, but not of absolute monarchies, the term Weitz was defining. Weitz is presented as an expert on the topic, but doesn't correct her.

Continuity mistake: When Zappata is cleaning after the murder on Kira, she hears something. When she draws her gun she is wearing gloves. The second after, gloves are gone. (00:30:30 - 00:31:00)
The Tale of the Book of Secrets - S4-E12
Character mistake: A Bed and Breakfast is named "De La Sol." That is incorrect in Spanish. Sol is masculine, and should be named "Del Sol." (00:15:15)
Frequently Recurring Struggle for Existence - S4-E15
Continuity mistake: Rich hacks into a secret web conversation where a meeting is being set up. The meeting is to be at the Travis Hotel, Room 319, 3 PM. Shortly thereafter, talking about the finding, they say that the meeting is going to be at the Caris Hotel. (00:16:10)
The One Where Jane Visits an Old Friend - S4-E16
Factual error: A newspaper clipping is shown saying a 15 year old boy became the youngest licensed pilot in Connecticut history. It goes on to say he finished his instruction, signed the paperwork, and took off again in a rented plane for his first solo flight. There are many errors here: 1 - The minimum age for even a student pilot's license is 16. For an unpowered glider, it is 14, but such was not the case here. 2 - Further, a student pilot is not a "licensed" pilot. 3 - In order to obtain a private pilot's license, besides all the written tests and practical instruction, the student needs to have completed: 5 hours of solo cross country flying; 1 solo cross country flight of at least 150nm total distance with full stop landings at 3 points; and one segment of at least 50nm between T/O and landings. So he could not have gone on "his first solo flight" after receiving his license. 4 - A new pilot does not have to sign anything. It is the Aviation Examiner that has to sign off the student and give him a temporary license upon satisfactory completion of the private pilot flight test. (00:26:00)
Continuity mistake: When the FBI is head to Iceland on the jet you see a rear view of the jet and it has four engines. When the team jumps out of the jet later you see a shot from underneath and it only has two engines. (00:13:15 - 00:25:25)
