Fureimu winguman - S1-E2

Other mistake: When Jaden and Syrus enter their dorm room, the curtains are closed, but this doesn't affect the lighting at all. The light isn't switched on, but the room appears exactly as it would if the curtains were open, without appearing dim or darkly lit, and the lighting doesn't change once they open the curtains. Etowâru saibâ - S1-E3

Other mistake: When the Elemental Hero Sparkman card is shown in Jaden's hand, the card is shaded orange. Monsters that have no special abilities (which Sparkman does not) are shaded yellow, whereas monsters that do have abilities are shaded orange, so there is no reason for the Sparkman card to be shaded orange here. Etowâru saibâ - S1-E3

Other mistake: When Jaden summons Elemental Hero Clayman to the field, the card is shaded orange. Clayman does not have special abilities, and monsters without abilities are shaded yellow, and monsters with abilities are shaded yellow. The card also appears to be flipped, as the attack and defence points shown on the card are reversed. (00:16:50)

Yami no dêmon dekki - S1-E5

Other mistake: When Jaden realises his arm is fading away, the Elemental Hero Clayman card shown on his duel disk is shaded orange. It should be shaded yellow, as it is not an effect monster, and effect monsters are shaded yellow. The same mistake occurs around a minute when the Shadow Duelist says, "It's your move, but make it count, it may be your last." (00:17:28 - 00:18:22)

Duel and Unusual Punishment - S1-E7

Other mistake: In the close-up shot of the cards in Jaden's hand on his second turn, it is revealed he drew Elemental Hero Clayman from his deck. The Clayman card is shaded orange, but since Clayman is not an effect monster, it should be shaded yellow. (00:08:26)

Tag Team Trial: Part 1 - S1-E10

Other mistake: When Chumley wonders how Jaden and Syrus are being so calm, Jaden replies with "What's not to be calm about?" and the shot zooms out to show several other playing cards on the floor. One of the cards shown is Cyber Twin Dragon. Jaden nor Syrus don't even have that card in their deck. Zane has it, but not Jaden or Syrus. (00:02:15)

Tag Team Trial: Part 1 - S1-E10

Other mistake: After Jaden has summoned Elemental Hero Rampart Blaster, Syrus states to Jaden that Gate Guardian's attack points are 3750 and Elemental Hero Rampart Blaster's defense points are only 2500. When Syrus is stating this to Jaden, it cuts to a reverse angle of Jaden and Syrus where Syrus says "Blaster will get blasted", you can see on Jaden's duel disk, the Elemental Hero Clayman card shown, rather than Elemental Hero Rampart Blaster. Tag Team Trial: Part 1 - S1-E10

Other mistake: When Jaden explains Elemental Hero Rampart Blaster's ability to Syrus and the Paradox Brothers, Jaden has Rampart Blaster attack the brothers directly. Just as Jaden says "Blast them with rampart mirage!", Elemental Hero Rampart Blaster is in defense mode somehow standing on top of the Elemental Hero Clayman card, rather than the Elemental Hero Rampart Blaster card. (00:16:10)

Tag Team Trial: Part 1 - S1-E10

Other mistake: All monsters in the series with effects are shown to be shaded in a dark orange color and all of the monsters with no effects whatsoever are shown to be shaded in a bright yellow color. Yet Dox's Defense Wall card is shown to be shaded in a bright yellow color (which implies that it is a monster with no effect), despite the fact that Defense Wall has the ability to be the only monster an opponent can attack whilst in defense position. (00:17:50)

Tag Team Trial: Part 2 - S1-E11

Other mistake: As Syrus is thinking about the next card he'll draw, just as he says "All our hopes of becoming the best, everything we've ever dreamed about..." he has a flashback that shows him and Jaden sitting at their desk with dueling cards in their hand, cards on their desk, and Chumley sitting on his bunk in the background. On the desk is the Elemental Hero Sparkman card, but it is shaded in a dark orange color. Elemental Hero Sparkman, however, has no special effects or abilities and monsters that have no effects are always shaded in bright yellow, not dark orange. (00:07:25)

Tag Team Trial: Part 2 - S1-E11

Other mistake: Syrus summons to the field Drillroid and has it attack the Gate Guardian in defense mode, but is blocked by Defence Wall because of its effect, and Defense Wall is destroyed. Because of this, Jaden and Syrus lose 500 Life Points. While it does seem logical that their life points would go down because Drillroid has 1600 attack points and Defense Wall has 2100 defense points, they should not lose life points in the first place. This is mainly due to the fact that Drillroid's effect causes a defense position monster to be destroyed instantly, without losing life points. If Drillroid was capable of destroying Defence Wall, then their life points should have remained at 1700. (00:08:00)

The Duel Off: Part 1 - S1-E21

Other mistake: When Jaden switches Oxygeddon to Defence Mode after using Spark Blaster, a display appears which shows the monster's defence points. However, the word ATK (meaning attack points) is shown on the display, even though it should read DEF (defence points) as the monster is currently in Defence Mode. (00:14:56)

School Duel: Part 2 - S1-E26

Other mistake: When Jaden has Elemental Hero Wildheart attack Chazz directly, Chazz's life points go down to 2100. Chazz's life point count remains this way for a large chunk of the duel, but when Elemental Hero Flame Wingman destroys Armed Dragon LV7, Chazz's life point count is 2800. Technically speaking, Chazz does lose the correct number of life points since his go down to 1600 and there was a 500-point difference between the two monsters, but his life points shouldn't have been listed as 2800. (00:05:44 - 00:15:15)

Casual Person

Doomsday Duel: Part 2 - S1-E30

Other mistake: Jaden activates the spell card Silent Doom and summons Elemental Hero Sparkman to the field in defence mode. He then activates the field spell Fusion Gate, but when he goes to insert the card into his duel disk, Sparkman is shown at a portrait angle on the duel disk, indicating that it is in attack mode instead of defence mode. (00:06:36)

A Lying Legend - S1-E40

Other mistake: When Jaden summons Elemental Hero Clayman, the card is shaded orange. Cards with special abilities are shaded orange, but Clayman does not have any abilities, so he should be shaded yellow. (00:16:18)

Amnael's Endgame: Part 1 - S1-E45

Other mistake: When Jaden places Elemental Hero Burstinatrix on his duel disk, the Elemental Hero Bubbleman card can be seen next to it. Bubbleman is shown to have 700 attack points listed on the card, even though this card is shown to have 800 attack points every time it is used in the series. (00:16:55)

Graduation Match: Part 1 - S1-E51

Other mistake: Zane activates the spell card Future Fusion. With this card, he is able to send three Cyber Dragons from his deck to the graveyard and summon the Fusion monster Cyber End Dragon to the field. However, this is not how Future Fusion works. When this card is activated, the player must wait two turns until the Fusion monster is summoned, it can't be summoned on the turn that it is used. (00:17:15)

Graduation Match: Part 1 - S1-E51

Audio problem: After Jaden and Zane shake hands and the duel starts, there is a wide shot of the arena where the students are heard cheering for them. But the students all appear to be sitting completely still and motionless, and their mouths don't move in any way. (00:06:35)
