Chumley then states the odds are in Jaden's favour, to which Syrus dismisses this, saying he flunked math. Character mistake: When Chumley falls off the tree and his cards fall on the ground, Jaden picks up one and comments "There's like, a zillion koala cards down here" when he looks at it. Character mistake: Jaden tells Damon that because of Elemental Hero Flame Wingman's ability, he will lose life points equal to half his destroyed monster's attack points. This is incorrect, as Damon will actually lose life points equal to the full attack points of the destroyed monster. He has used this card multiple times throughout the series, so this isn't a mistake he should have made. (00:18:25)
Character mistake: The episode opens late at night when Syrus overhears Banner on a call where he discusses burying Jaden alive. The next morning is a classroom scene where Banner says the field trip will take place on Saturday at 7am, and the next scene shows Jaden, Syrus, Chumley and Alexis outside the school at 7am waiting for Banner to arrive. In this scene, Syrus tells Jaden he heard Banner talk about burying Jaden alive the previous night, but by this point, at least two nights must have passed. (00:03:48)
Character mistake: When Slade is giving Chazz the conditions for the duel, he says "You're only allowed to duel with monsters with less than 500 life points." What he meant to say was attack points, as life points are the amount the duelist has during the duel, whereas attack points are the points that the duel monsters have. (00:04:18)
