Where Silence Has Lease - S2-E2
Corrected entry: In this episode, the number of the USS Yamato is given as "NCC 1305 E." However, in the episode "Contagion," from later in season 2, the number is given as "NCC 71807."
Correction: The Yamato seen in When Silence Has Lease is not the real ship, but a replica created as part of a test for the Enterprise crew by the Nagilum - as part of the testing process, it contains numerous inaccuracies, such as being made from the wrong materials and has many alterations to the layout of the regular ship, including multiple versions of the bridge. The incorrect registry code is just one of these differences from the original. Later in the season, in Contagion, we see the real ship, which obviously carries the correct registry code.

Corrected entry: In the scene where Data is on the bridge being contacted by Picard, and when he speaks to the computer to gives orders is impossible. All the air has been removed from the bridge, yet sound can still travel through the air (though we allow poetic license that exploding ships make sounds). (00:07:20)
Correction: The air has not been sucked from the bridge - the life-support has simply been shut off. The air on the bridge would quickly become unbreathable, hence the evacuation, but it's still there. As such, sound will be able to travel normally.

Corrected entry: Throughout the Star Trek series, when there is a medical emergency or a security situation, why don't they use the site to site transporters to get people to where they need to be? Seconds matter in an emergency but they take the time to move injured people via the corridors.
Correction: Site-to-site transports require a great deal of power, so are only used in absolute emergencies. Generally speaking, if there are injuries on board, the Enterprise would almost certainly have taken damage and will probably be in an alert status, where power will be required for the primary systems like the shields, engines and weapons. As such, the necessary power to perform site-to-site transports would not be made available except in cases of the utmost urgency. Additionally, site-to-site transports require two steps (site A to buffers, then buffers to site B), and the show establishes that transporting seriously injured people is dangerous, so doing it twice is even more so.

Corrected entry: A transporter accident transforms Picard, Ro Laren, Guinan and Keiko O'Brien into small children who appear to be about 12 years old. Picard is 30-40 years older than Ro and Keiko. Guinan is over 500 years old. Why are they all returned to the same age?
Correction: Simple - their bodies have all been 'reset', as it were, to the same stage in their lives - apparently just before the onset of puberty. Therefore, they all appear to be the same age.
