Continuity mistake: When Linus and Lucy are heading to the pumpkin patch at the beginning of the film, Linus takes his blanket with him, but when they pick up a pumpkin and march back, Linus no longer has his blanket.

It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown (1966)
Suggested correction: When they get to the pumpkin patch, Linus drops his blanket. When they leave, he leaves his blanket at the pumpkin patch. He might have forgotten it, but it's not a mistake.

Continuity mistake: While Schroeder is playing piano, Snoopy abruptly pops in out of nowhere, in the middle of the frame, and starts dancing.

Hey Arnold! (1996)
Downtown as Fruits / Eugene's Bike - S1-E1
Corrected entry: At the beginning, Iggy can be seen very briefly without his sunglasses.
Correction: What exactly is the trivia here? We simply see Iggy lift up his sunglasses for a short moment; there is nothing substantial about it. And it's not even the only time he is without them; in "Arnold Betrays Iggy," he is not wearing them at all, both at the beginning and the end of the episode.

Mr. Bean (1989)
Continuity mistake: Just after Mr. Bean's hand is stomped on by one of the boys, and he lets go of the diving board, the camera pans back to show him falling into the water, but the same shot shows no-one else standing on either of the diving boards. The two boys should have still been standing on the higher one.
Suggested correction: This is only an error in the "widescreen," aka cropped version of the episode. In the original 4:3 edit, you can see the two boys at the top of the screen, but the "widescreen" shot cuts them off.
And even then, the boys' legs are still visible in the widescreen version.

Recess (1997)
Schoolworld - S4-E21
Corrected entry: When S.A.L tells Principal Prickly that he's retired he says drive safely, but later locks him in his office.
Correction: SAL locks Principal Prickly in his office to prevent him from pulling his plug, because he tells SAL, "I'm pulling your plug," a few seconds after SAL tells him to drive carefully.

Henry Stickmin Collection
Factual error: In 'Escaping the Prison', the description for the Opacitator says that it will turn you opaque, allowing you to pass through walls. 2 problems. First, opaque is the opposite of transparent (see through), despite what the description claims. Also, the transparency of objects only affect how much light passes through them, it doesn't affect any other physics (a glass can't go through walls just because it is transparent). Even if the device did make objects opaque, it would not affect any physics or have any effect on Henry.
Suggested correction: The word "opaque" is indeed used incorrectly (there is an achievement you can get called "It's a joke..." by clicking on the word "opaque"), but the Opacitator specifically states, "The more opaque (see through) you get, the easier it will be for you to pass through solid objects." This is just how this specific device works. Not all transparent things can pass through objects, just the person that the Opacitator makes transparent.

Finding Nemo (2003)
Continuity mistake: Towards the middle of the movie, we see a shot with Nemo staring out of the tank, depressed. The camera slowly pans toward the side of the tank and Nemo is reflected in the glass twice. However, towards the end of the movie when Nemo is playing dead, all the fish swim to the other side of the tank and Bloat says something like, "What's happening? Why is he playing dead?" The camera pans to the side of the tank again, but the fish are only reflected once this time. They should have been reflected twice.
Suggested correction: The camera does not pan to the side of the tank, nor do the fish swim past the edge of the glass. The submitter might have confused the black cord that's outside of the tank as the edge of the glass. The view of the fish is correct.

Finding Nemo (2003)
Audio problem: When Marlin and Dory swim into the deepest part of the ocean to reclaim their mask, they see a light (which we know later, belongs to an angler fish). They stop right underneath the light and says "What is it?" but his mouth doesn't match the movements. It looks as though the animators had Albert Brooks (Marlin's voice actor) say a different line than what was animated.

Finding Nemo (2003)

Continuity mistake: When Marlin and Coral check on the eggs in the nest, when they first look, no eggs can be seen at the mouth of the cave but a couple of shots later the eggs appear.
Suggested correction: The reason the eggs appear is that the camera may have moved downwards, thus closer to the eggs that would have been at the bottom of the hollow. If it was more upwards, as in the first shot, the eggs would have been below the camera's view.
The camera doesn't move down, it zooms out. There are eggs at the mouth of the cave in the second shot, and in the first shot, the same area of the cave is shown, but there are no eggs visible. The different shot sizes don't matter here.

Finding Nemo (2003)

Continuity mistake: As the fishing net is being pulled up, a fisherman is shown to the left of two wires on the boat leaning on his elbow. Then in the very next shot, the fisherman is in between the two wires, and now he is leaning on his hand.
Suggested correction: He isn't between the wires.
Even if he isn't exactly between the wires in the next shot, he still moves between shots, so the mistake is valid.

Beauty and the Beast (1991)
Factual error: There's a scene where Belle's father is riding away in the snow on his horse - the tracks left behind by the horse are exactly backwards. The round part of a horseshoe is at the front, not the back. (This was a deliberate 'in joke' done by the animators.)
Suggested correction: It is Belle who rides the horse in the snow, not Maurice. If we're talking about this being a mistake, then it could be a deliberate mistake, but if this was truly done as an in-joke, then I think it falls more under trivia. The tracks being backwards is factually incorrect, but it doesn't really fall under the category of "mistake" if it was deliberately done as a joke.

Monsters, Inc. (2001)
Trivia: The number "A113" has appeared in every Pixar film. In this film, it appears as a sign seen in the background when Sulley sees Smitty and Needleman loading the trash compactor.
Suggested correction: No, the sign has the number "431" on it. There are several instances in the film where A113 is speculated to be hidden, but none have actually been confirmed. There is also a video on Pixar's YouTube channel which points out all the A113 references in their films, but Monsters, Inc has been left out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NyrrZqPI42I. So, it seems like this is the only Pixar film to not have an A113 reference, or it does but it hasn't been found yet. (I believe it's the former.)

Cars (2006)

Deliberate mistake: At the start of the film when the commentators are explaining the tie situation between the 3 cars the green arrow to the car is out of alignment and misses the car, instead pointing at the track. Pixar Creative Director, Jay Ward, who is this film's team manager (as well as art coordinator) has stated that this was deliberately done as a joke, for fun. It's a little bit off, in the same way that Chick Hicks is a little bit off. This is the video with Jay Ward explaining: https://youtu.be/ZkJre-eC-zE?t=25.
Suggested correction: If this was deliberately done for a joke, shouldn't this be under trivia? It just doesn't make sense to me that this would be a mistake if that was the entire point of it. I remember that this entry used to have a correction explaining that it was done for a joke, and the actual mistake didn't state this originally.

Back to the Future (1985)
Revealing mistake: When Marty crosses the park in front of the court house and the camera pans around following Marty while showing the town, watch one of the buildings in the middle background. Part of the building is grey and has 2 windows and is supposed to have a slanted roof, but if you watch closely, it appears that building is in fact only a wall with nothing behind it. (00:34:40)
Suggested correction: Nothing really specifies that the building is only a wall. It definitely could be, but since there are no camera angles showing the back or sides of the building, it's not really fair to call this a mistake.

Back to the Future Part II (1989)
Visible crew/equipment: When Old Biff says, "Something very familiar about all this," two crew-members are visible on the left side of Biff behind him. (00:19:10)
Suggested correction: Nothing about those people specifies that they are crew members. They just look like normal pedestrians, with normal clothing.

Back to the Future (1985)
Continuity mistake: As Doc turns the plutonium jar on the back of the DeLorean, the little thing sticking out of the jar slides greatly down, without any motion of moving. (00:27:15)
Suggested correction: Wrong. It does show motion as it slides down, it just moves very quickly.

The Wizard of Oz (1939)
Continuity mistake: When the Tin Man is attacked by six flying monkeys they take away his axe. Several seconds later he has it again. (01:15:20)
Suggested correction: The "several seconds later" between his axe being taken and him having it back is a 25-second scene of the Scarecrow being pulled apart, and Dorothy and Toto being taken away. There was plenty of time for the Tin Man to retrieve his axe. Also, when we see the Tin Man with his axe again, there are still many flying monkeys on the ground, so it's possible that the flying monkey who took his axe didn't just immediately fly away with it.

Hey Arnold! (1996)
Continuity mistake: Harold's age is inconsistent throughout the series. Harold has his Bar Mitzvah in "Harold's Bar Mitzvah", establishing that he is 13 years old, and in "Hey Harold!", he tells Patty that he was held back a couple years, which is why he is still in fourth grade. However, in "Helga on the Couch", he is shown in the same preschool class as the other kids, and in "The Journal", he is shown playing in the park with the other kids, and he is a baby just like all of them.
Suggested correction: It's possible that Harold wasn't the only student held back, even though he's older than his classmates. Just a thought.
So? How does that justify him being in the same preschool class as the other kids?
He was probably held back in preschool but was not mentioned.
Fair enough, but he is also in "The Journal" which took place before the kids were in preschool. He is shown playing with the other kids as a baby, and there is no sign of an age difference, even though he is supposed to be 4 years older than them at most. All the other main kid characters are around 9 years old in the fourth grade. It's highly unlikely that Harold would be around those kids as a baby.

The Wizard of Oz (1939)
Revealing mistake: The Scarecrow tells Dorothy to, "just bend the nail down in the back and maybe I'll slip off" but what she actually does is pull a lever. (00:35:40)
Suggested correction: I have the scene up right now, and the nail on the pole just looks like... a huge nail. Then Dorothy bends it, and the Scarecrow falls off. I'm not denying that it's a lever, because it's entirely possible that it is. The thing is, there is nothing in the scene that indicates that it absolutely has to be a lever, and it can't be a nail at all.
