Revealing mistake: During his first confrontation with the alien, Hayata's pistol shoots powerful rays that don't cause a single speck of damage to the walls when the monster dodges them. They are just superimposed. (00:09:40)

Revealing mistake: The VTOL hits Bemular with two missiles the second time that Hayata makes him come out of the water. The second missile causes an explosion with the special effect applied in the wrong spot, a spot in the back of the monster that is practically the opposite of the direction in the line of shot.
