Continuity mistake: When Buffy is being offered the 'doublemeat medley' burger by her boss, the burger looks different in close up than in the long shots. In the close shot, the burger looks overall bigger, more filling is visible and there is more lettuce sticking out.

Continuity mistake: Just before Buffy storms out on Spike, she puts on her denim jacket. When viewed from in front we can see the jacket is only half over her shoulders and her hair is loose. The shot cuts to view her from behind, and the jacket is now completely on and her hair is tucked under the collar.

Continuity mistake: When Glory challenges Dawn to name one person who can cope with life on earth, there is a close up of Dawn answering "Buffy". In this shot, the black mark (where she has been annointed) that is there before and after, has completely disappeared. (00:24:05)

Continuity mistake: When Riley is dressing Buffy's wound, it is much further to her left side than where she was actually staked, which was more central on her stomach. (00:00:35 - 00:02:40)

Revealing mistake: In the scene where Giles and Ethan Rayne are drinking in the bar, the shots cut between Giles and Ethan frequently. When on Giles, you can see Ethan's hands/arms and his glass in the foreground of the shot, but almost every time the shot switches back to Ethan he's in a different position with no time to have moved.
