Correction: It was there for that joke and that joke only. This occurs all the time in Spongebob.

Brad

Correction: Mr. Krabs says, "Then we add undersea veggies and cheese". He doesn't forget it.

Brad

Correction: This is done for dramatic effect. It lands with such force and frightens Patrick and Spongebob. The fact the pencil lands more like a missile fits in with the environment of the show, i.e. That Bikini Bottom has gravity despite being underwater. The fact they are able to launch the pencil back up with the same force shows its not a one off as well.

Lummie

Correction: That's because they are not part of his shirt. Look at when he takes off his pants, his shirt always stays with it but his sleeves never seem to be part of it. Chalk it up to another mystery of the show.

Superhero Movie (2008)

Correction: Yes, Freightliner hoods are made of re-enforced fiberglass, as are 99% of all semi truck hoods. If they're made of metal, they are too heavy to flip forward to check the oil, or service the engine, and would need a hoist to open them.

The Naked Gun (1988)

Corrected entry: Towards the end of the movie when the baseball scene is showing highlights as the song "I Love L.A" plays, you'll notice in one scene when a grand slam happens that 4 players cross second base. This is impossible since only the batter and the man on first should cross second base.

logan crews

Correction: That's the joke! Only one or two players at most should have crossed second plate, but a whole string of players cross one after the other. Bear in mind the footage also includes a player getting his head taken off by a ball, and one being attacked by a tiger.

Toy Story (1995)

Corrected entry: Seeing as Buzz is unaware he is a toy, what exactly does he do when Andy plays with him? Would he not interact with him entirely the same way he does with his other toys when he first meets them.

logan crews

Correction: He thinks Andy is the leader of this "tribe". All the other toys allow Andy to play with them, so Buzz does too. When in Rome...

Phixius

Correction: Lee Unkrich. Who directed 3 and co-directed 2, said in a tweet to this question;" Two words; Toy instinct." So, there's that.

Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy III / Squirrel Jokes - S2-E4

Corrected entry: In "Mermaid Man And Barnicle Boy 3" when Man-Ray puts on that metal arm, he puts a bomb thing on top of it. But when Spongebob and Patrick use the orb of confusion on themselves and Man-Ray points to the city right after Spongebob and Patrick crash the Invisible Boatmobile, the bomb thing is not on the metal hand anymore.

logan crews

Correction: There was enough time for him to have used it or taken it off or something else. After putting it on, he melts Spongebob and Patrick down and then takes off. The scenes then follow the duo before catching up with Man-Ray and crashing the invisible boat mobile.

Scary Movie 3 (2003)

Corrected entry: When the president pees out of his finger you can see the device that is making the pee come out on the middle of his finger.

logan crews

Correction: No device can be seen.

Ssiscool

It's small, but just above his finger, you can see something white he is holding.

Saw II (2005)

Corrected entry: As we all know from watching "Saw" or "Saw 2" the mastermind behind all the traps is a cancer patient. He could barely finish a sentence without coughing up a lung. Even while recording the messages on the tapes, he could hardly suppress his coughs. Yet somehow he manages to lay in the middle of the room the entire time and not cough once.

logan crews

Correction: In the first Saw he took a sedative shortly before lying down on the floor. Being that we don't know what type of sedative, its effects etc., it's fairly tough to state categorically whether he would or wouldn't have been able to suppress his coughing.

Lummie

Correction: Patrick's excess armpit hair was done for the purpose of that joke. Many times in Spongebob, they use something for a joke and never use it again.

Brad

Correction: The tan is more of a visual joke and fits into the show's constant use of making a character look one way for a very brief albeit instant change before reverting back to how they originally looked. Examples include Patrick looking much fatter and with more armpit hair before returning to his normal weight and less armpit hair.

Airplane (1980)

Corrected entry: At the end of the film when Otto (the inflatable pilot) is saluting you can see a wire making his his arm salute.

logan crews

Correction: So? He's supposed to be a mechanical dummy of some sort. That's how his arm works.

Show generally

Corrected entry: In the episode "Pressure," Spongebob, Patrick, Mr. Krabs and Squidward go up to land and they can breathe air. But in other episodes like "Tea at the Treedome," Spongebob can't breathe air in the dome, or like "Big Pink Loser," where Patrick says, "Island, I got an award," but he can't breathe air for even a few seconds.

logan crews

Correction: There is a few differences with the dome and when the gang was on the surface. The dome is somewhat like a glass house, sunlight is essentially the only element entering. That means there is either little to no moisture and no wind. Additionally the sunlight would make it much warmer than outside drying them out much quicker. With moisture in the air on the surface they would last longer. As we see they don't stay very long on the surface. As for when Patrick can't breath for very long in "Big Pink Loser" he was racing around everywhere and might have had to exert more energy jumping out of the water. In "Pressure" they were close to the surface before going on land.

Lummie

Corrected entry: The future Chris's belt buckle switches direction in several shots when talking to future Peter and Lois.

logan crews

Correction: For a mistake like this there must be some specifics or a timecode of when this happens. Half the movie is in the future and there is no way to verify this or see the mistake by your description.

Airplane (1980)

Correction: It might help if you specified when he was there and went missing as the song is long enough he went to the bathroom or moved seats etc.

Airplane (1980)

Corrected entry: In the disco scene when Ted throws his jacket and it comes back to him, a hand can be seen to the left throwing his jacket back at him.

logan crews

Correction: That's not a mistake. It may have been unintentional by the film makers, but whether the hand had been there or not, it's obvious that someone threw the jacket back (spoofing classic disco movies where the hero throws his jacket off screen). That we can actually see them do it ruins the joke a little, but there's no reason why they should not be there.

Twotall

Correction: Someone would have to throw it back anyway, it doesn't matter that you can see the hand.
