Trivia: The name of the familly and the movie came from Brian Tenenbaum, a friend of Wes Anderson, the director, Owen Wilson and Luke Wilson. He also plays one of the paramedics in the accident scene.

Trivia: In the closeup of Chas' hand with a pellet lodged between its knuckles it's not Ben Stiller's, but Andrew Wilson's hand, brother of Owen and Luke Wilson. When they were children, Owen fired a pellet gun at Andrew's hand.

Trivia: When the A-Wing is going to hit the Death Star, it's visibly an A-Wing but when it hits it they used a model car - you can see the wheels and the axle.

Trivia: At first, this film seems to have only one scene and two shots, one outside and another inside. Actually, it is divided in a series of 10 minute continuous shots, 10 minutes being the maximum duration of filming possible without reloading the camera. Every 10 minutes, the camera zooms on a dark object and then cuts.

Trivia: When Padmé and her guards infiltrate the palace, just before they are arrested by the droidekas, check on the top of the corridor. It's hardly visible, but there is an arch with a portrait of George Lucas on it.

Trivia: Just before Watto decides to use the chance cube with Qui-Gon, there is somebody working on a podracer behind them. This is in fact Don Bies, the creator and controller of the radio-controlled version of R2-D2.
