A Christmas Story (1983)

Corrected entry: Toward the end, Ralphie has his new BB gun outside ready to fire at the target. Trouble is, as he ran through the house, he only had the BB gun, and nothing else. The target magically set itself up on the metal sign that the BB ricocheted off.

Movie Nut

Correction: Ralphie is holding the paper target with his BB gun as he runs toward the door.

Correction: No you can not. The plums are computer generated.

MasterOfAll

Corrected entry: If she "blew every fuse in the house" trying to keep up with Martha May, as she claimed, then why are there operating lights in the house? And if there are working lights, why does Lou carry a lit candelabra in the house?

Movie Nut

Correction: Lou is only employing hyperbole with his claim that his wife "blew every fuse in the house", but he carries a candelabra because some fuses really are blown and he needs it to see while in those rooms,.

Phixius

Corrected entry: In her investigation, Cindy Lou was told that the Grinch disappeared. Martha May says "And that was the last time that we ever saw him. The very last time." If that is so, then how did the Whos know that the Grinch was living on Mount Crumpit? The paper shown has a picture of Crumpit, and the Grinch in a close up.

Movie Nut

Correction: She may have meant her and her classmates. We don't know who took the picture of him on the mountain, or how close they got to him.

Corrected entry: When in the town square, the mayor announces that it's time for nominations for Holiday Cheermeister. The camera goes out to a wide shot, and there is a person in the foreground of the shot with a yellow balloon. The tether on it never straightens out like an ordinary string. It stays crooked.

Movie Nut

Correction: This is part of the magic of Whoville. Many things seem to defy physics in this world.

Ghost Ship (2002)

Corrected entry: Accounting for the forty year time period, and the amount it takes the human body to decompose, there should be some signs of human remains. The only thing Epps finds is the skeleton of Katie. All of the people in the pool, on the deck, and everywhere else, should have left skeletal remains at least. But there aren't any, save for Katie's.

Movie Nut

Correction: Because those people were collected, body and soul, by the evil spirits on the ship. Katie was not so her body remained. Her soul, though trapped on the ship, was also free to warn the newcomers.

Jason X (2001)

Corrected entry: In the sick bay, Kay-Em has taken Jason's arm off, then takes off a bigger chunk of his right shoulder, left leg, and finally, about 95 percent of his head. Seeing that Jason falls on the table where the nanotech reconstruction takes place, why didn't they pull his remnants off the table? Even though it was severely damaged and at an angle, common sense would say that it was still hooked up the power, and might somehow reactivate.

Movie Nut

Correction: They were in the rush of the moment. When Jason was knocked back, he basically trashed the room and the nanotech table. As they were in a hurry to get off the ship, given it was apparently very broken medical equipment and a guy with half his head blown off, they just simply didn't take the time to think about that with the ship about to blow up.

Quantom X

Corrected entry: When Uhura is holding "Mr. Adventure" at phaser point to let Kirk McCoy and Sulu get away, after she says "This is fantasy!", she is holding the phaser level and steady. As the shot turns to him, watch her hand. It tilts over to her right by about 60 degrees. When the shot goes back to her, it's straight up again.

Movie Nut

Correction: This isn't a mistake, she is taunting him with the phaser for the "career winding down" crack. She has time to snap it back up before the camera comes back. It would take less than a second.

Escape From L.A. (1996)

Corrected entry: When surrounded by Cuervo's men, Snake calls for Bangkok Rules. He tosses up the can, shoots the guys down, and the can hits the ground. When it does, it rolls like a regular can, but then it rights itself and sits open end up. This defies the laws of physics. It was either pulled, set with magnets, or it was very bad CG. (00:34:45)

Movie Nut

Correction: The can lands, but does not 'roll' as stated. It bounces a couple of times, before landing upright. While it certainly does look like an unnatural movement, in slo-mo, you can see it hitting the lip on the ground and bouncing back/upright. It doesn't quite look real, but it is possible (not likely, but 'possible') that by chance, the can actually moved like that.

Lethal Weapon (1987)

Corrected entry: After Riggs has beaten Joshua, Murtaugh is holding Riggs after he collapses. Riggs is facing away from the action of Joshua getting cuffed, yet reacts along with Murtaugh to shoot him, then collapses again. And where was Riggs' gun the whole time during the fight? It wasn't in his waistband where he always carried it, and no holster. It just conveniently reappears when needed.

Movie Nut

Correction: First off, Riggs turned around because Murtaugh turned, and pulled his gun, Riggs would have easily known what was going on. Secondly, Murtaugh had Riggs' gun. Riggs just pulled it from Murtaugh.

Resident Evil (2002)

Corrected entry: In the beginning, the people are trapped in the elevator. The woman tried to squeeze out to get help, and a long piece of hair hangs down. As the car drops, the hair hangs out at an angle, the same angle as when the car stops, and her head is inches above the floor. Gravity defying hair?

Movie Nut

Correction: Not gravity defying hair, gravity defying hair product. There's so much styling product in her hair that it's too fixed in place to fall straight down. Similar effect can be seen when a man's comb-over stands straight up in a crosswind instead of blowing out to the side.

Phixius

Corrected entry: Before the storm, the Professor said that his equipment and the radio hadn't worked for ten years, and after getting to Hawaii, they were confused by the procession of presidents. Yet, the radio, when it was working, would have kept them up to date on all of the events up to the tome that it stopped working. Even then, the professor could have repaired it.

Movie Nut

Correction: In ten years the presidency would have switched at least twice so no mistake there. Also, the professor did not have the ability to fix the radio since he didn't have proper tools.
