Trivia: The bridge used in the movie was a bridge that was no longer used. The film crew bought the entire bridge from the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers for just 1 dollar.

Escape From New York (1981)
Trivia: Only one shot of this entire movie was actually filmed in New York. That is the shot where they pan down, showing the Statue of Liberty and several guards walking around on it. In other parts where you see the city from afar it's actually a miniature, not the real thing. (00:06:15)

Escape From New York (1981)
Trivia: During the beginning of the movie, as the female voice starts telling about what has happened, there is a map showing the island of Manhattan and illustrates the prison. This part was added very late in production because producer Debra Hill realized that a lot of kids in early screenings did not know that the Manhattan was an island. (00:03:10)

Goldeneye 007
Trivia: If you can get to where you can see an enemy without him seeing you, and he is standing still, just sit and watch for a moment. The solders in this game can have some funny idle animations. The best is when they start swatting at the air for a moment like a bug is bothering them. Then they'll even point their gun around as if they're threatening to shoot the bug.

Trivia: It is of popular belief that the stag music on ElecMan's level was inspired by the Journey song, "Faithfully" from their 1983 album called "Frontiers." The songs do indeed sound very similar, and are even played in the same key signature. However, nobody from Capcom USA or Japan has confirmed this to date. The song also has similarities to "All the Right Friends" by R.E.M.

Trivia: Rock, Roll and Dr. Right go unnamed throughout the whole game; they are only seen at the end. (Rock goes unnamed; NOT Rockman.) The Yellow Devil, the Copy Robot, and the seven CWU-01P(s) are also unnamed in the game, although the Copy Robot can just as well be referred to as MegaMan; it's an exact copy. Dr. Wily is the only part of his name given; there's no "Albert W." The weapons are not given names either. (M stands for Magnet, and P may stand for Power or Player.).

Trivia: During the time this game was in development, there was a large push for "Westernization" of Japanese game box arts. The cuteness of the character was thought not to be attractive to the eyes of the US public. That is also the reason for changing Rock to Mega, and Rockman to MegaMan. However, the designer of the was asked to make the box art for the US version of the game with little to no time before the game was actually released and never got to see any source material or the game. So he made a cover that had almost nothing to do with the game. The cover to this game is also rated one of the worst box art covers in video game history.
