Continuity mistake: When Robin first goes to visit Marian, he enters the house with a roll on his back (over the shoulder). It's there when he enters and the maid tells him to 'stand right here'. A moment later "Marian" appears, and the roll is gone, it's not on his back, or even in a wide shot showing he took it off. It never appears again.

Trivia: Originally Kate Capshaw was to perform a much bigger part in the dance number for "Anything Goes". However when she tried on the dress, she couldn't perform the moves, so her dance was cut and she just did simple hand and leg movements throughout the song.

Continuity mistake: Frasier is based on the character originally created on Cheers. In Fraiser, he lives with his father who is a retired police man. On Cheers, Frasier once mentioned his father was a scientist. It's also worth noting that in one episode of Cheers, John Mahoney, who was to later play Frasier's dad, turns up as a pianist. Frasier also said on Cheers that his father was dead. When Ted Danson made a guest appearance on Frasier, Frasier admitted that he had lied about his father since the two had been arguing so much.

Trivia: Christopher Plummer who plays the Captain, met the real Maria von Trapp when he was a child. He used to ski and had met her at the von Trapp Lodge which the family owned and operated.
