Corrected entry: When the body of the former partner of Mr. Devlin is examined he looks like drowned. Del Blaine says, he died of dehydration. In a later scene we learn the bacteria works to fast and every other body is completely dried to dust within seconds.

Kate & Leopold (2001)
Corrected entry: Kate's ex-boyfriend has a bad fall down an elevator shaft, because ostensibly time has been altered and Leopold doesn't invent the elevator. But if that's the case, why would the sliding doors to the elevator even be there in the absence of the device they were installed for? He would have just walked into a blank wall.
Correction: Because Leo was in danger of not returning, the elevators were malfunctioning. That is why Stuart fell. The elevators did not disappear from existence. (Notice everyone still knew what elevators were, and some in the city did function properly).

Kate & Leopold (2001)
Corrected entry: At the end of the movie, when Leopold comes back to the past, he returns to the same day but earlier in time (we see him going upstairs to prepare for the evening party). Shouldn't he have encounted his earlier self, the Leopold who will later chase Stuart and travel to the present, as was shown in the beginning of the movie?
Correction: This movie apparently has different rules for time travel than the Back to the Future movies, in which multiple selves is a common occurance. For the purpose of this movie, there apparently is only one of each of us parading around in different time periods.

Freaky Friday (2003)
Corrected entry: In the last scene Tess (In Anna's Body) Is crying because of cancelling the wedding. Surely her makeup would have smudged if she was crying.
Correction: Depends on the make up. There are some really good waterproof products out now.

Days of Our Lives (1965)
Corrected entry: Marlena murdered Doug in the graveyard in March, 2004, after luring him there by claiming there was a pay phone nearby. But Doug is a lifelong Salem resident, and should have known damn well that there was no pay phone in the area. It was ridiculous that he would follow her, especially given that he knew she was the serial killer.
Correction: Doug hadn't lived in Salem for a long time, he only comes back to visit for short stints. It is possible that a new pay phone had been installed in his absence.

Fight Club (1999)
Corrected entry: In the scene in the cinema, Ed Norton says that while the rest of us slept Tyler worked as a projectionist. However, the cinema is full of children and showing a cartoon, so its unlikely Tyler works in the cinema at such a late time.
Correction: Ed says this because when Tyler is working, "Ed" (or Jack, or the Narrator, whatever you wish to call him) is sleeping. ED is Tyler. So when Tyler does these 'other' things, Ed cannot account for his time, so he believes he's asleep. So these things could happen at any time of the day or night.

Kate & Leopold (2001)
Corrected entry: When all the elevators disappeared, the NY City skyline should have changed also. Surely nobody would build office buildings much higher than 10 stories (the 1890 record) if workers had to walk all the way to the top every day.
Correction: The elevators didn't disappear. Leopold was in jeopardy of not going back in the time, but that fate wasn't 'for sure.' The elevators were not working all over town, just showing how his disappearance from the past could alter the future.

Secondhand Lions (2003)
Corrected entry: It says at the end that they died well into their 90s, but were almost 20 during the 1st world war. The car shown in the scene is a later model so they would have been over 100.
Correction: In the Commentary, the director says the modern day scenes are taking place in the early 1990's. He also said the brothers were 18 when their adventures start, which would put brothers into their 90's at the end of the film.

Secondhand Lions (2003)
Corrected entry: What happened to the pig? It's there in the beginning and then just gone. Did they eat the darn thing?
Correction: When May comes to pick up Walter at the end of the film, the pig is sitting at the bottom of the stairs of the porch.

Annie (1982)
Corrected entry: In the scene where Punjab is in the copter looking for Annie, you can see the skyline in the background as he flies around. The problem is there were no skyscrapers or neon lights in the early 30's.
Correction: The Empire State building was completed in 1931. Neon signs date back to the 1800's, and the first ones were introduced to the US in 1923. Both pre-date the 1933 timeline of the movie.

Wayne's World 2 (1993)
Corrected entry: Why was Garth nodding frantically when Del is telling himself and Wayne about the Jim Morrison dream. He was just told that Wayne had a dream, he didn't know the exact details of the dream, so why is he nodding as if he does?
Correction: A lot of time had passed since Wayne had first told Garth of the dream, he could have told him the details later, like on the long plane ride from Chicago to London.

The Music Man (1962)
Corrected entry: Why does it take the anvil salesman nearly the entire movie to catch the next train back to River City? The train takes only a few minutes to go between stops, but he doesn't show up until after Harold orders all the instruments which would take weeks, if not months.
Correction: He didn't have the 'proof' about the professor at the beginning. He had to get the proof before returning to River City to expose the professor. They also stated that ordering the uniforms takes exactly 4 weeks. It isn't out of line to think the salesman may need that long to get the proof.

Cinderella II: Dreams Come True (2002)
Corrected entry: When the King is packing his stuff into the carriage you can see a tennis racket as part of the luggage. Tennis wasn't invented in that time.
Correction: Tennis dates back to before or around the 14th century. (Prior to that it was more like handball).

Singin' in the Rain (1952)
Corrected entry: When Don Lockwood jumps into Kathy's car to get away from his fans, from the above shot you see her look upwards just after he drops. In the very next shot, Don is on top of the seat and Kathy is looking straight ahead, then turns to look at him, surprised.
Correction: I checked frame by frame, she's wearing a hat, and it never moves on the long shot. She is looking straight ahead the whole time.

Bridget Jones's Diary (2001)
Corrected entry: Bridget's mother Pam telephones her daughter up while she (Bridget) is preparing the birthday dinner for her friends. Pam reveals that she is beginning to have doubts about being with Julian, and at that moment we see Julian snatching his hand away from his manicurist. Julian's voice says 'Be careful, you ham-fisted cow,' but if you watch his mouth, he doesn't actually use the word cow but in fact employs another choice insult which must have got the censorship peoples' backs up a bit.
Correction: On the US DVD he doesn't say cow, but what he does say matches the screen.

Finding Nemo (2003)
Corrected entry: Darla comes to see her uncle on her eighth birthday. She is wearing braces. They shouldn't be fitted until after all the milk teeth are out (I know, because an orthodontist messed up on mine).
Correction: My daughter had her "phase one" braces around that time. They can be done early (and on baby teeth) if they are messed up enough.

Shakespeare in Love (1998)
Corrected entry: Shakespeare was married at age 19, well before he wrote Romeo and Juliet.
Correction: He is married in this film as well, they refer to both his wife and children. He is just not living with them at the time. This is the reason Viola gets upset and runs out of the tavern, she learns he is married.

Cold Creek Manor (2003)
Corrected entry: How did Dave manage to kill a pony and put the corpse in the pool? The pony was way too heavy to pull after its death, and the pony would never have gotten in the pool alive.
Correction: He could have walked the pony out next to the pool, killed it, and then pushed it into the pool.

Dirty Dancing (1987)
Corrected entry: This movie is supposed to take place in the sixties when dirty dancing wasn't allowed. However, the last dance is danced to a song that wasn't released until the eighties?
Correction: The last song was written just for the movie, so yes it was written in the 80's, but as an original song for this movie, so can also reasonably be used in this time period.

Matchstick Men (2003)
Corrected entry: All the times that Roy is in his car you can see that the windows are dirty. For someone like him, you'd think he'd clean them.
Correction: You would think that, as it follows a line of logic. However, living with an OCD person, I can say that they're obssessive compulsive tendencies don't necessarily follow a line of logic. It is possible that he has to have his home windows squeaky clean and not care about his car at all. Odd, I know, but I've given up trying to figure out OCD.
