Revealing mistake: During the glider scenes, they use aerial shots of stuntmen in a real glider and then a prop/dummy one with a blue screen for the close up shots of Thomas and Catherine inside the cockpit. The actual glider has a second rear cockpit control box that you can see in all the aerial shots. The rear pilot is at least 5 feet back from the front one. In the close-ups, with the prop/dummy one, the rear cockpit box is gone and they show Thomas actually leaning on Catherine's back. The actual glider also has a much larger wingspan, fuselage, and cockpit. Again, you see this during the take off shots and all the aerials. When they land in the field and crawl out of the dummy/prop, the tail is only about 5 feet back from the cockpit. (01:04:50 - 01:06:05)

The Thomas Crown Affair (1999)
Continuity mistake: When Thomas and Catherine are having breakfast and his servant Paul brings Catherine's special "green" drink, it changes colors. When Paul has it on the tray and sets it down on the table, it is a very deep olive green. When she goes to actually drink it, it's now a light pastel turquoise blue color. (01:02:20)

The Thomas Crown Affair (1999)
Continuity mistake: When they land in Martinique, and are on the airstrip loading up the vehicles, their luggage and the painting go into the second vehicle, a shiny black jeep. However, when they show the aerial shot of them climbing the mountain to Crown's house, the jeep is now painted in camouflage colors. (01:08:10 - 01:08:55)

The Thomas Crown Affair (1999)
Revealing mistake: During the glider scene when they show the close up of Catherine's face with Thomas leaning over her from behind, waving his hands, if you look at her sunglasses you can see all the white screens, the camera crew, the reflection of his hands, etc. You can see this every time they show a close-up of them from the front of the glider. The Thomas Crown Affair (1999)
Plot hole: At the end of the movie when everyone is standing in the gallery looking at the painting now back in place (with the smoke and sprinklers still dripping) they notice that now there is a new painting missing, the one Thomas stole for Catherine. However, none of the other metal wall coverings open or move except for that small side one revealing the empty frame on the wall. This makes no sense why only that one would suddenly open and none of the others. (01:40:50)

The Thomas Crown Affair (1999)
Revealing mistake: At the beginning, when Thomas Crown is in his car, getting ready to get out and walk up to the museum, they show a close up of his wrist watch to set the time; it says 9:08 a.m. A few minutes later when he is sitting inside the gallery eating his breakfast croissant, if you look carefully at his watch, it shows 4:30. In various other shots, it also shows 5:25 and 6:30, indicating at least 2 hours spent shooting the gallery scene. (00:02:25 - 00:04:00)

The Thomas Crown Affair (1999)
Trivia: The large delivery truck that almost hits Thomas Crown at the very beginning, as he walks across the street to the museum, is actually the same truck that is carrying his "Trojan horse" to the museum. The driver and license plate are the same (PB9975). In line with the theme and use of the Greek "Trojan Horse" is also the idea of a Greek tragedy; that he (Crown) would be killed by the very truck he hired to carry out his heist; felled by the very events he put into motion. An important part of Greek tragedy is hubris which is shown prominently in Thomas Crown. (00:02:45 - 00:05:10)

Trivia: The actual glider used in the movie was a "Duo-Discus x" manufactured by Schempp-hirth and was the personal plane of millionaire Richard S. DuPont. The gliders sold new in 1999 (when the movie was made) for about $100,000. The DuPonts, besides being chemical giants, were pioneers in American gliding. (01:06:00)

At the hospital, Gray distracts the receptionist while Darby sneaks in. She runs upstairs and goes straight to Edward's room. How did she know to go upstairs and which room Edward was in? The friend never tells Gray, Edward's home phone was disconnected, and at the hospital, Darby doesn't speak with Gray, he just waves her in. (01:38:25)

The Pelican Brief (1993)
Continuity mistake: After getting the documents from the safety deposit box, Gray and Darby are chased around the inside of a parking garage. As they hide down on a lower level, the female assassin spots them in the reflection on the back of a side view mirror on a car. In the direct shot, Gray is the corner and Darby on the outside. However, in the reflection, it shows Darby in the corner and Gray on the outside. (01:59:00)

The Pelican Brief (1993)
Continuity mistake: As Gray and Darby are being chased in the garage, after getting the documents from the safety deposit box, Darby is gripping the envelope folded around the videotape, like a taco. This switches back and forth between holding it with the open side facing her and gripping it with the closed side facing her, and thus the videotape can be seen from the front shot. As she is running around the corner, it changes from the view as she comes up on the corner to the following shot of her running around the corner. It actually flips back and forth several times over the chase sequence in the garage. (01:59:30)

The Pelican Brief (1993)
Continuity mistake: In the hotel scene where Darby calls Gavin to give him the instructions to meet her the next day, he eats one of the chocolates on his pillow and throws it down. They show a close up of the chocolates. After Khamel murders Gavin, he walks to the bed, pulls the recording device and eats one of the chocolates. They are now in a different spot on the bed. Meet the Fockers (2004)
Continuity mistake: When everyone goes to town Greg stays behind to babysit. Just before he goes to check on a crying LJ be pauses outside the door and the shot shows a close up of a pair of running shoes that are different than the ones Greg is wearing during the remaining scenes. In the shot by the door, the shoes are light grey and white with a metal plate on the side, however, in the rest of the scenes he has on navy and white running shoes. (01:01:50 - 01:03:00)

Visible crew/equipment: When they are playing football, they show a close up of Jack's face after Dina makes a touchdown and she and Bernie celebrate. In the close up of Jack's face and sunglasses, in his left eye, you can see the reflection of a square camera light. This shows up again right as Jack is about to be tackled by Bernie, this time in his right eye. It follows Jack as he rises in the air to catch the ball. (00:52:15 - 00:54:45)

Meet the Fockers (2004)
Continuity mistake: The pen photos that Jack takes of Jorge do not match the ones shown on the upload screen when he sends them to the CIA, inside of the motor home. When he actually takes the pictures, he does them in rapid succession. Jorge is right in front of of the RV about a foot away and all you can see in the background is the RV since he is standing so close to it. On the uploaded photos, Jorge is at least 5-10 feet away from the RV, up on the sidewalk. He is also now at the end of the RV and the photos show the house across the street in the background. Continuity mistake: When Bernie is lying in front of the bus to protest Jack leaving, in the first shot his head is directly aligned with the wheel well and his feet are under the license plate. When they show Bernie getting up, he is way out to the right of the bus by a couple of feet. (01:32:11 - 01:32:36)
