Corrected entry: Right after Gil Buckman tells the parent "Way to be supportive," a ball is hit out into the field, it bounces and the outfielder catches it and throws it infield. However next to the outfielder, there is a ball on the field already. There are never two balls on the field at the same time.

New Jack City (1991)
Corrected entry: When everyone is in the club, counting down new year as the DJ announces that it is midnight the clock around his neck shows there are still a couple of minutes to go.
Correction: Character mistake not a movie mistake. Flavor Flav could be looking at a more accurate clock like on TV or elsewhere.

Napoleon Dynamite (2004)
Corrected entry: In the beginning, the action figure he is going to throw out the window has its arms up, until the exterior shot from outside the bus, where it's bouncing around, its arms are down.
Correction: All the bouncing could have made the arms change.

The Return of the Living Dead (1985)
Corrected entry: When Frank is talking to Freddy, he says that the movie Night of the Living Dead was based on something that really happened in 1969. But Night of the Living Dead was made in 1968.
Correction: Character mistake, not movie mistake.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005)
Corrected entry: The huge hole in the center of the squirrel room is there for throwing all the garbage in, but not a single nut shell is seen being thrown. I suppose a room full of flying nut shells would be too much of a distraction from the cuteness of this scene.
Correction: Speculative assumptions are not movie mistakes.

Biloxi Blues (1988)
Corrected entry: In the scene where Christopher Walken is trying to determine who stole money from a soldier's footlocker, he threatens to discipline the platoon if no one confesses by the time he counts 'down from thirty.' However, he begins counting at 'one,' thereby counting up to thirty.
Correction: Character mistake not a movie mistake.

Phantasm (1979)
Corrected entry: When Mike is riding his motorbike in the graveyard, in one shot you can see tyre tracks in the field behind him, that the filming crew are making as the camera pans backward. (00:03:45)
Correction: Yes, tracks are visible but it could be from the cemetary maintenance vehicles.

Apollo 13 (1995)
Corrected entry: At one point on the return to Earth when they're about to make another burn, Lovell (Tom Hanks) looks out the window to his left at a stream of smoke or gas flowing by. At the left bottom corner a hand of the crew or someone outside of the ship is quickly noticeable, but even more so when you watch the scene in slow motion. The hand moves slightly, then quickly moves from the window as if the crew member realised what he was doing. (01:41:35)
Correction: Watched this several times. What you see is Lovell's face reflected in the window not a crew member's hand.

Close Encounters of the Third Kind (1977)
Corrected entry: When the scientists decode the pulses broadcast by the aliens, Mr. Lacombe puts on a set of headphones and starts to play the notes on the piano in front of him. Numbers are written on the keys, ranging from 1 - 5, so he knows in which order he must play them. (00:46:35)
Correction: Since LaCombe probably wasn't a piano player, they obviously setup the piano so anyone could play the signal tune.

The Simpsons (1989)
Corrected entry: In "Boy Scoutz 'N The Hood", Springfield is on the east coast of the US. However, later in "Simpson Tide", it's on the west coast.
Correction: It is never mentioned where Springfield is. Several references are made but the producers want to keep people guessing so it is not really a mistake.

Bully (2001)
Corrected entry: In the scene where Ali, the hitman and Marty return to the murder scene, they all get out of the car and you can see headlights from another car through the back window of her car. They were supposed to be alone. The other kids stayed at the beach.
Correction: The two lights you see are small utility lights on each end of the rear view mirror that are out of focus. A simple Ebay search on mustang rear view mirrors proves this.

Home Alone 2: Lost in New York (1992)
Corrected entry: Just before Kevin's plane to NYC takes off, he puts on a pair of headphones and listens to some music. In reality, passengers are not allowed to use any electronic equipment (laptops, cell phones, headphones, CD players, etc.) in order to ensure no interference in communications between the plane and air traffic control during takeoff and landing.
Correction: Since when do kids follow the rules? Besides, the stewardess could have told Kevin to remove the headphones after the announcements.

Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory (1971)
Corrected entry: In the scene where Willy Wonka greets his guests, there is a cameraman in a blue shirt in shot just outside the gates on the right as the guests go in. He can be seen filming the guests and Wonka, and his footage is included in the film. In the next shot when Wonka checks the golden tickets, he has gone. (00:43:57)
Correction: The camera could have been news coverage of Wonka opening his factory. There were several cameras in the scene.

Bully (2001)
Corrected entry: When Bobby is naked and he's spitting on the mirror, the arm of a cameraman wearing a green shirt appears in the left edge of the mirror.
Correction: Watched several times. There is no cameraman visible. You may be referring to the bathrobe hanging on the door or the outer rim of the mirror which is a secondary image showing Bobby.

Super Size Me (2004)
Corrected entry: When Morgan is laying out his plans, he says he will not get any form of exercise, except for walking, yet it is later revealed that he has been having sex with his girlfriend - a form of exercise. (00:11:15 - 01:05:25)
Correction: Morgan meant he would not do any extra physical activity that could result in weight loss. Although sex is a little exercise, it isn't regarded as a way of getting exercise or even losing weight. Furthermore, Alex, his girlfriend, says she is on top during sex which means Morgan is exerting himself that much less.

The Rainmaker (1997)
Corrected entry: Rudy goes to Cleveland to get depositions under oath from four employees of Great Benefits. He gets quite angry when he realizes that the first two he calls had been fired and can't be heard. The third one is Everett Lufkin who wrote the infamous last letter to Dot Black. Rudy says that he is going to get the deposition from him and pack up and leave after that. We never find out who the fourth one is and why Rudy is not interested in getting his/her deposition. (01:01:55)
Correction: Not a mistake since Rudy is still green around the gills as a lawyer. He could have forgotten since he was so upset that he is getting the run-a-round from Great Benefit's lawyers.

Super Size Me (2004)
Corrected entry: The documentary shows a graphic showing the fattest cities in the U.S. If you look at Florida, Miami is spelled wrong. It is spelled "Maimi" instead of "Miami."

Reiben unpins a grenades and throws it to Sergeant Horvath who lobs it over the wall. During this Reiben unpins another grenade and throws it over the wall but there is only one explosion.
Correction: One of the grenades could have been a dud.

Dirty Harry (1971)
Corrected entry: On the way to Jaffe's diner Harry passes by a car in which a bank robber is waiting for his accomplices to come out. After he places his order Harry asks Jaffe if this car's engine is running, which he could tell from the exhaust smoke the car is emitting. However, when Harry drove by there were no fumes, only now there are, but Harry hadn't looked back since. (00:10:35)
Correction: The getaway driver could have started the car while Harry was walking into the diner.
