Continuity mistake: When Thing and Alicia are first shown from outside the window, the table in front of them has nothing on it. When the shot changes, a bag of popcorn has appeared on the table.(00:01:21)
Audio problem: When Thing is ordering a pizza, he appears to speed dial by pressing 2-#-2. The second time he presses the 2 button, it makes a different sound than the first time.(00:10:18)
Audio problem: When Sue is saying "I sympathize Miss Forbes, but Ben's an adult. I can't control him," her mouth movement is not in sync with the dialogue.(00:02:15)
Audio problem: When Reed is working in his lab to get his computer to connect with the Hubble Telescope, he says "interfacing" with his mouth closed.(00:02:33)
Continuity mistake: After Sue tells Miss Forbes that Thing is an adult, and she can't control him, the yellow couch that is behind her is now red. Johnny was also sitting on the couch, but by the time it has turned red, he is nowhere to be seen.(00:02:09)
Continuity mistake: When Miss Forbes enters the living room, Alicia is standing in front of the couch. When the shot changes, Alicia and Sue are shown standing perpendicular to it. When the shot changes again, they are back to standing in front.(00:02:00)
Continuity mistake: When Thing is picked up by the clay monster, his fingers and toes are briefly colored a darker shade of orange than the rest of his body, and in one shot, his blue trunks are the same orange color as his body.(00:13:43)
Continuity mistake: When Reed forms his body into a parachute to slow his, Johnny's, and Melinda's fall, he and Johnny have swapped hair colors as they descend.(00:10:12)
Factual error: After the building in the Rockefeller Center is pulled out from under its foundation, it falls through the Earth's surface for what Reed says is miles before it comes to a crashing halt in the subterranean ground. If a building of that size fell many miles through the Earth's surface and came to a dead stop in the ground, then the velocity at which it would have been traveling and the force of the sudden stop would cause the building to be completely destroyed, and everyone in the building that isn't a superhero would be killed from the impact.(00:07:00)
Continuity mistake: When Reed is saying that he is going to accelerate the suction process, the white streaks in his hair are thinner than usual.(00:18:43)
Continuity mistake: When the heroes reach the point where the tunnels split, the center of the two entrances is illuminated by phosphorescent minerals in the cavern walls. When everyone splits up, the center area is suddenly no longer illuminated.(00:09:17 - 00:09:48)
Continuity mistake: When Johnny is hugging Melinda, his back is facing the window. When the shot changes, both of them have rotated 90° counter-clockwise, so that his left side and her right side are facing the window.(00:08:31)
Other mistake: When the heroes are running towards the window, you can see the light border of the inner window frame drawn around Thing's right arm and Reed and Sue's torsos, as if they had become translucent.(00:08:13)
Continuity mistake: After Alicia pours the soda into her cup, she is holding the can in her right hand, level with her chest. When the shot changes, her right hand is suddenly near her right hip.(00:03:05)
Other mistake: When Alicia takes the grape soda out of the fridge, she pours it into her cup without first opening the can. If the can was already opened, then its contents would have spilled out from oscillation when Thing was dancing with the fridge before he set it down.(00:03:05)
