Continuity mistake: When Tony's dad arrives at the NCIS office for Christmas, he is met at the elevator by Ziva. He is holding a Christmas present (which looks like a bouquet of flowers) with the 'red' end up. As the camera angle changes, he is now holding it 'red' side down. (00:28:25)

Playing with Fire - S9-E22

Continuity mistake: When Tony & Ziva meet their contact in Naples, we see a local cop walking down the background behind them, and passing a walkway to the boat. Seconds later, as the camera changes view, we see that cop about 30 feet back, going the same way.

Continuity mistake: When Wesley arrives at Redvale, he goes down into the vault area. When he turns the corner (just a few feet down from the lobby), he sees the bodies of the slain guards on the floor. The vault area is not cordoned off, not closed to the public, and wide open to view by anyone stepping just a few steps down the stairs. Yet there is nobody anywhere to be seen - despite this being the middle of a workday, and the lobby being busy with people just a few minutes before.

Continuity mistake: When Irina meets XIII on the river dock, she leaves her car, closes the driver side door and walks to XIII. Moments later, when XIII is shot, she runs back to her car, where the door is wide open.

Continuity mistake: When Hannibal first kills the butcher near the lake, he has crippled him with sword slashes, then walks about 7 paces away from the man (say, 15 feet); he then turns and without stepping closer, slices his head off. (00:40:20)

Leap of Faith - S5-E5

Continuity mistake: The pill bottle the agents recovered from the house has the Doctor's name "Fleming" to search for. But when McGee searches the NCIS system, he spells the name "Flemming" and gets his results. As well, the scrip sheets for Dr. Flemming archived on the computer, contain several identification numbers - DEA (AJ0000000000), Batch (00000001) & License (C00000.) - not real numbers - so the prop master didn't even try to fake any of them. Continuity mistake: When the trio are about to enter the maintenance tunnel under the cargo hold, there is nothing in the tunnel. Morgan tosses a single bag in to start crawling through it, but she crawls over another bag already in the tunnel. (00:57:30)

Continuity mistake: As Jimmy & Oz drive from Oz's house to the city, the background behind Oz's side of the car changes from a new suburb in a wooded area (with a degree of unfinished construction) to a large, long-completed residential valley, and back again. (00:11:30)

Continuity mistake: When Wade enters the recording studio to see Rembrandt, we can see him reflected in the window removing his headphones and handing them to an assistant. The camera angle changes and he removes the headphones (again) & puts them down on a stool.

Continuity mistake: When Tony tells Ziva he won't help her track down the remaining 'Smiths', a woman in the background is walking down the stairs; as Tony stands up, she takes two steps down from the lower landing. When the camera shot changes on Tony, she's back on the landing. (00:25:15)

Continuity mistake: When Paxton & Kana escape the factory by stealing a car, he checks his rear-view mirror to see the car pursuing him - the road has a dividing dashed white line on it. When the angle changes to see them driving away from the camera, there is no line on the road. Approx. time code 1:20:00.

Continuity mistake: In the coffee shop, Don & Mac are having breakfast; Raymond arrives, looks down at Mac's belt & sees his gun & badge beside each other on his right hip. A minute later, after Raymond leaves, Mac exits the coffee shop looking for Raymond; his badge has jumped to the opposite side of his belt. (00:09:30)
