Continuity mistake: In the Wicked Witch's room, she puts Toto in Dorothy's basket which now has a lid on both sides of it. Later when the boys come to rescue her, Dorothy walks over toward the hourglass, and picks up the same basket and it now has no lids on it (like earlier in the movie). (01:17:20 - 01:23:50)

Audio problem: As they all stand at the door to Oz, Dorothy reaches for the knocker and we hear the overdubbed knocking sound before she touches it. (00:58:45)
Suggested correction: The sound we hear before she starts knocking is of her grabbing the knocker, and it is right on time with when she grabs it. There is no audio mistake.

If you look closely in the two long shots from above them, the Tin Man reflects the bright stage light that is placed below them at the first bend of the walkway, on top of the Witch's castle. Continuity mistake: As they enter the scene with the Cowardly Lion, the Scarecrow falls and then jumps over a patch of weeds growing in the middle of the Yellow Brick Road. In the next shot he does the exact same thing only about three feet behind the patch of weeds that he jumped over before. (00:48:00)

Visible crew/equipment: As the talking trees throw their apples at Dorothy and the Scarecrow, look closely at the upper right hand side of the screen. An off camera crew member is shaking one of the trees back and forth as all of the others stand motionless. (00:40:20)
