Audio problem: A studio engineer tries to play with Ringo's drums and George says, "He's very fussy about his drums. They loom large in his legend," as he tries to tune his guitar. If you listen closely George is paying his fifth string while adjusting the tuning peg of his fourth string on his Rickenbacker. (00:32:25)

Continuity mistake: When John talks to the woman by the staircase if you look at the clock above his head it reads 3:25. In the very next shot of George going into the TV producers office the same clock now reads 6:20. (00:40:55)

Continuity mistake: In the lunch car as Paul signs the picture for his grandfather he's holding it with his right hand. In the next shot his hand has moved and he's holding in with his thumb. (00:09:10)

Continuity mistake: When Ringo goes out "parading" two girls recognize him as he walks down the street taking pictures with his camera. If you look closely the cars parked on the street to the right of the screen change between shots. (01:01:10)

Audio problem: As The Beatles go out of the fire escape door Ringo shouts, "We're out" just before "Can't buy me love" starts playing. If you look closely at his lips he doesn't actually say anything. (00:37:25)

Continuity mistake: Sitting in the lunch car Norm gives Paul's grandfather the pictures and the old man says, "Hey Paulie would you sign one of them for us" as he puts the pictures on his plate. In the next shot the plate is not there. (00:09:05)

Continuity mistake: Sitting at their table Paul's grandfather tries to convince Ringo to stop reading his book and if you look closely there's plenty of sugar in the sugar shaker. No one touches it but when the old man says, "So you are a man after all" the sugar shaker is all of a sudden empty. (00:57:00)

Audio problem: When George sings, "I don't need to hug or hold you tight" from "I'm happy just to dance with you" he's lip-syncing the wrong words. (00:54:00)

Revealing mistake: In their hotel room Ringo says, "Do I snore, John?" If you look at Paul's hands on the piano it's obvious that he's not playing and that it's an over-dub that we are listening to. (00:17:30)

Continuity mistake: As The Beatles go out to the field while "Can't buy me love" is playing Ringo has his camera. It disappears after they come down the fire escape and doesn't return for the rest of the scene. (00:37:50 - 00:39:35)

Revealing mistake: Ringo meets up with a young boy while he's out 'parading' who says, "I'm a deserter" after Ringo inquires about why he's not in school. As the boy says this line there's an out of focus close-up of Ringo. (01:02:20)

Continuity mistake: George goes into a TV producers office and the secretary's phone is pushed right up against the edge of her desk. In the next shot when she puts on her shoe the phone is pushed back about two inches from the edge of the desk. (00:41:40)

Continuity mistake: John asks Paul's grandfather, "Are you nursing a broken heart?" and if you look over his head the window is closed. No one goes near it but two shots later John stands up and walks over to the old man and the window is now open. (00:04:10 - 00:06:35)

Factual error: As Tom Cruise and the children walk on route 385 towards Athens NY they pass a sign saying that the town is 1 1/2 miles away just before they cross a bridge. In reality there's no bridge to cross 1 1/2 miles from Athens NY on route 385. (00:56:20)

Factual error: The New York Central Railroad's West Shore Line train tracks depicted in the scene with the burning train in Athens NY is not accurate. Tom Cruise and the children walk right onto the ferry terminal after crossing the train tracks, but in reality the tracks are over two miles to the west of the Hudson River shoreline. (00:57:20)

Factual error: The burning train scene as Tom Cruise leads the children towards the Athens NY ferry is fantastic. The only problem is route 385 does lead them to the center of town but it doesn't intersect a rail line. (00:57:00)

Continuity mistake: As the boy runs up the stairs to the second level of the ferry Tom Cruise yells, "Robbie". If look closely there's a large speaker in front of him that can be seen in the first two shots but then disappears for the rest. (01:01:50)

Revealing mistake: Dakota Fanning cannot actually see the computer generated birds that are flying high over the Hudson-Athens ferry. If you look closely her eyes stair straight ahead and not up in the air where they should be. (00:58:35)

Continuity mistake: When we see the Hudson-Athens ferry boat captain from outside of his bridge, the video screens in each window above his head are positioned well below the tops of each window. In the next shot they're higher and we barely see them. (01:02:35)

Continuity mistake: Right after the Hudson-Athens ferry boat captain guns the engines you can see there are no ropes between the boat and the pier. In the next shot there are as the pilings are ripped off into the water. (01:01:55)
