Continuity mistake: Outside of the corridor of light sequence, nobody ever seems to run out of ammo, or bother to reload, most notably Ada and Alice.

Resident Evil: Retribution (2012)
Deliberate mistake: Empty magazines aren't that heavy, but when Alice kicks it into the face of one of the zombies, it looks like he's being hit with a baseball bat. (00:22:45)

Resident Evil: Retribution (2012)
Factual error: Semi-automatic guns don't just click empty, like they do in a lot of movies. The slide would lock back until you manually cock the gun. Yet in the corridor of light scene, this is exactly what happens: Alice's gun just clicks when it's empty.

Resident Evil: Retribution (2012)
Continuity mistake: The Rolls-Royce constantly goes from being bulletproof, to not being armored at all.

Resident Evil: Retribution (2012)
Factual error: Typhoon-class submarines have a crew of 163 men. It is impossible for Jill Valentine to operate a submarine on her own, even with help from Rain.

Resident Evil: Retribution (2012)
Revealing mistake: When Alice shoots the zombie in the blue dress, we get a frontal shot of the gun. Pay close attention to her trigger finger: it doesn't move at all, while the gun does fire.

Resident Evil: Retribution (2012)
Continuity mistake: When Alice knocks over the giant Licker in the Rolls-Royce, the driver's side of the car remains completely undamaged. Unlikely, but for the rest of the chase there are four giant scratches across the rear of the car. (00:51:10 - 00:52:05)

Resident Evil: Afterlife (2010)
Factual error: Alice blows up the wires of the elevator to bring it down as quickly as possible. But all elevators have emergency brakes to prevent precisely that from happening. The chances of them being damaged by rust are also very slim: they are covered in grease. (00:59:35)

Resident Evil: Afterlife (2010)
Continuity mistake: When the elevator hits the water, it starts to tilt over to one side. This contradicts the shot which shows it falling, where it fits very snugly in its shaft. (00:59:30)

The Avengers (2012)
Factual error: The Mark 7 takes 9 seconds to assemble - give or take. Judging by the view of the Chrysler Building, Stark Tower is about 300 meters high. Even if you discount the time it takes for the suit to catch up with Tony, 9 seconds is too long, he would hit the ground before the suit would fully assemble. (01:41:35)

The Avengers (2012)
Continuity mistake: When Stark is about to fire up the arc reactor underneath Stark Tower, you can see that he turns for his approach. But when he is flying in with the nuke, Stark Tower is in a straight line with the street he flew in on - the same street as when they lit the arc reactor. (00:23:45)

The Dark Knight Rises (2012)
Continuity mistake: When Selina Kyle and Daggett fall onto the elevator, the shot cuts away before Kyle gets up. Yet in the following shot, she is fully up and standing within range of the cables. (00:52:25)

The Dark Knight Rises (2012)
Audio problem: When the first stock broker is shot, the time between the shot and the recoil is far too long; over half a second, when it should have been instantaneous.

The Dark Knight Rises (2012)
Other mistake: When Catwoman and Batman are fighting Bane's henchmen on the rooftop, pay close attention to the guys in the background right before Batman knocks Catwoman's gun away: you can see that the henchman well out of Batman's reach on the far left falls over like he's been hit by a punch, but he couldn't be. Also, no gunshots are heard at that point, so he couldn't have been shot either. (00:53:30)

The Dark Knight Rises (2012)
Revealing mistake: When Bane first breaks into the stock exchange, he forces one of the guards into shooting his gun. Two mistakes: there is no flash or muzzle flare, and the gun has an insane amount of recoil. It's not a cannon, it's a 9mm. It's also not the guard being startled by Bane: Bane is the one holding his arm.

The Dark Knight Rises (2012)
Continuity mistake: When Bruce Wayne and Lucius Fox are discussing the fusion reactor in Fox's office, Wayne's hand keeps switching from being on his cane, to being placed somewhere out of frame.

Dredd (2012)
Continuity mistake: During multiple points in the movie, the guns of the Judges are in normal mode, then one shot in silencer mode, then back again, or the other way around. Two examples are in the time codes below. (00:36:30 - 01:20:25)

Dredd (2012)
Continuity mistake: When Dredd is telling Anderson about the crime statistics, he is looking at her. When the shot cuts, he is looking in front of him. (00:14:30)

Dredd (2012)
Visible crew/equipment: When Judge Dredd says: "Thanks for the heads up", you can see that the gun he is holding is a rubber stunt prop: you can tell because the front end is sealed shut when it should be open. Also, the barrel is thicker, certain details are missing, etc.

Dredd (2012)
Revealing mistake: When Dredd headbutts Kay, you can see that he actually misses. You can tell because he moves forward further than Kay's face would allow.
