Continuity mistake: When Bond is having his chase through Las Vegas with all the police there are several shots of the casino clocks in the background. At one point the time goes from 1:30 to almost 4 o'clock in just a few minutes.

Continuity mistake: When Bond is looking at the airport through the telescope in Rio he sees the Drax cargo plane coming down the runway but just seconds before in the wide shot of the whole airport there is no plane on the runway or anywhere near it.

Continuity mistake: When Bond begins to make his way towards the rooms where the American and Russian astronauts are being held captive the announcer in the control room says interception will take place in two hours but then barely a minute or so later the announcer says "100 minutes." Somehow twenty minutes disappeared in just the time it took Bond to hide in the tram car.

Continuity mistake: When Dent walks into the room to be questioned by Dr. No we don't see the table with the spider cage in the first side shot but Dent only walks a few feet from the chair, and suddenly there's a table. (00:38:00)

Continuity mistake: Bond manages to shut off the gravity in the whole station, but when the bad guys begin their battle with the Marine astronauts the bag guys are walking towards the airlock hatch as if they have full gravity.

Continuity mistake: When we see the outside of the cave where the apes are sleeping for the first time it's at sunset. We can see the sun and cloud behind the cave as if it is just sitting in a rock face with nothing behind it, but in the next shot when it's daytime suddenly there is a background of rocks and mountains behind the cave.

Continuity mistake: During the opening credits we see a shot of the beach when the "Tom Atkins" credit appears and Stevie Wayne is on the radio. It's supposed to be just after midnight yet it looks like dawn.

Continuity mistake: When everyone is trying to get Joshua/WOPR to stand down from launching its own missiles, McKittrick's assistant Paul is standing with the rest of the group, but then there is a quick shot of Paul looking at the WOPR and then within seconds Paul is overheard saying "must be caught in a loop" as if he's standing beside everyone again.

Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the film the Myers' house is within walking distance of the Strode house, both of which are on one side of town, while the Doyle and Wallace houses are on other considering the driving distance Annie and Laurie had to drive to get to them. But at the end of the film somehow the Myers' house is now within walking distance of the Doyle and Wallace houses.

Continuity mistake: When the gang arrived for their first day of closed rehearsals the clock on the front of the theater says about 8:30, but just a few minutes later when Buster goes to get the power back on the clock now says about 11:50.

Continuity mistake: When Freddy pours the popcorn out of the box at the beginning of the movie he sits the box down at an angle with the flaps open. But when he and Frank come back up stairs from the basement the box is back in place and the flaps are closed.
