Corrected entry: The phonetic alphabet used in the movie is incorrect. They use some of the correct phonetics, but have wrong letters later. For example it is stated that the products are becoming more self-aware for generations Echo, Foxtrot, Gamma and Hilo. Gamma and Hilo should be Golf and Hotel to be correct.

The Island (2005)
Stupidity: McCord gives Lincoln and Jordan a credit card and tells them that he will have to report it missing within twenty four hours, and he warns them that they can be traced by using it. He then gives them a huge wedge of cash. Since we have a society that still uses cash, and he has acknowledged how dangerous the use of a "stolen" credit card is - he even tells them how using it will lead the authorities straight to them - why not just tell them to use the cash? (If there wasn't enough, they get a cash advance on the credit card up to its limit - easy). He repeatedly acknowledges the risks of using the card, and it is absurd to speculate that he didn't have time to find and use an ATM to max out the card. He doesn't have to find an ATM - Lincoln and Jordan do, and as he acknowledges they have twenty four hours to do so. Once the cash is withdrawn, the card is thrown away, and nobody is at risk.
Suggested correction: We don't know how much cash it was, could just have been many 1$ bills and a few tens. So they probably would have needed more money at the beginning, and as they had to hurry for the train it couldn't have been possible for McCord to go for an ATM machine. They can use the card without danger until he reports it stolen (nobody knows at that time that McCord is helping them, so they wouldn't track down his credit card, until he reports the theft) So it's not even a character mistake as he thinks they'd be safe to use it in the next 24 hours. His warnings are for after the 24 hours, when it is reported stolen. And anyway, they need the credit card so that Jordan can get back into the facility.

Enemy of the State (1998)
Corrected entry: When they enter the "jar" at the end of the movie, the cat in one cut is locked out of the fence and the next cut the cat is in the fence and running up the stairs.
Correction: The gate closes with the cat outside, that's correct. However when Brill is putting the stairs fully down we see a camerashot from behind the gate and it is moving and opening, check the space between the wire-mesh fence. So the cat has opened the gate, easy thing to do as she could just push against it because she was on the outside.

Enemy of the State (1998)
Corrected entry: When the politician is murdered, the murderer walks up behind him as he opens the front door of his car. But when the Daniel Zavitz examines the tape of it, the politician is opening the back door.
Correction: The murdered politician opens the back door in reality and on the video. Look at the frame of the door, it is rounded at the back, indicating that it is the back door. Then the murderer openes the front door to put the dead politician behind the wheel. Check the frame here as well, sharp corner on the back and rounded in front. Everything is correct.

X-Men 2 (2003)
Corrected entry: At the end of the film, when the President is making his speech, he is interrupted by the X-Men led by Xavier who has stopped all the presidential staff so he can reveal info about Stryker to the President. This is all well and good but what all about the tens of thousands of Americans who will be watching? They will have seen all of Xavier's brief, unless he could stop that many people without seeing them, or know who to stop out of the entire country.
Correction: He or somebody from his crew could easily have switched off the cameras or interrupted the transmission in any other way (they are powerful enough). The people watching would just think that there was a problem with the transmission of the speech.

Face/Off (1997)
Corrected entry: Near the beginning of the film, Castor is at the LA Convention Center setting the bomb. After the scene with the choir singing, there is a shot of the outside marquee that shows a choir convention running from the 18th - 21st. He then tells his boys to stay away from LA on the 18th because it's going to be a bit smoggy (the bomb). Later as Archer, after defusing the bomb, he is told that the targets for the bomb were some judges at a convention or something like that. The dates just don't add up - it was already the 18th when he initially set the bomb.
Correction: The choir was only a rehearsal, no audience was there, only a few people, who probably work there. So there are still plenty of days to pass till the 18th. No plot hole there.

Pearl Harbor (2001)
Corrected entry: While training for the Tokyo raid, Dolittle is the first to get his B-25 to take off in the allotted distance. In the shot that shows his plane lifting off as he crosses the line on the runway, the flag in the background shows he is taking off with the wind. Airplanes always take off INTO the wind whenever possible, especially when trying to keep the takeoff roll short.
Correction: It's correct that you try to start into the wind whenever possible, however we can't say that they didn't try to take off with the wind anyway, plus there could be wind changes. I personally had that when I once landed at an airfield, strong winds from the left however suddenly a wind from the right caught me offhand and nearly turned my plane over. No mistake in that scene.

Saving Private Ryan (1998)
Corrected entry: In the final battle an American solider gets stabbed through the chest after a long scuffle with a German soldier. It is impossible for a human chest to be penetrated that slowly and smoothly by even a really sharp knife, especially with clothing on and only using one hand.
Correction: I've just reviewed the scene and we can't really see the angle of the knife, plus the knife is quite small and ribs can be displaced quite easily, especially with the force the German soldier applies as he is leaning on the knife with his whole body.

The Da Vinci Code (2006)
Corrected entry: Near the end, Langdon is shaving and he cuts himself rather severely. A few minutes later when he leaves his hotel room and goes to the Louvre, there is absolutely no evidence of the cut - no bandage, tissue paper, etc.
Correction: The cut doesn't have to be severe. When you cut yourself while shaving it mostly looks worse than it is, as the blood mixes with water.

10 Things I Hate About You (1999)
Corrected entry: Throughout the whole movie, Kat and her sister live in the Magnolia neighborhood of Seattle, and all the kids hang out in Seattle. However, they go to school at Stadium High School in Tacoma, which is more than 20 miles away from Seattle.
Correction: Why is this a mistake? I went to a High School which was 30 miles away, and now I go to a university which is about 80 miles away.

The Island (2005)
Corrected entry: It makes no sense that Sarah Jordan is supposed to be a famous star, yet Jordan is able to dial directly to her home simply by looking her up in a public information booth. Even Lincoln's number was unlisted. On top of this, it's hard to imagine that there would only be one Sarah Jordan in the directory of a large city.
Correction: It's always up to the stars if they want to be in a phone book. In Switzerland for example, you can look up several politicians and stars with address and phone number over an internet directory.

The Core (2003)
Corrected entry: How was the crane attached to Virgil at the bottom of the ocean? The scuba divers are only shown down about ten feet, and they wouldn't be able to walk the ocean floor in standard suits anyway.
Correction: They are in the area of Hawaii where the waters are pretty shallow. If you listen to the pilot in the chopper, after he sees the whales, he says that the whales are circling something, and that they are getting a strong echo at about 800 feet (243m). Not too big a problem attaching a crane at that depth.

The Core (2003)
Corrected entry: Don't you find it weird that one of the most secret projects in the United States, that no one should ever know about, is marked "Secret", and not "Top Secret"?
Correction: It would absolutely be labeled "Top Secret." Any newly developed or experimental weapons would be classified as Top Secret.
Correction: We don't know exactly what information is in that file. It could just be info on the 6 scientists plus some details he got about Destiny. It is unlikely that he'd be in possession of the original Destiny file.

Mr. Bean (1989)
Corrected entry: Towards the end of the examination, the examiner says "Two minutes, ladies and gentlemen." (i.e. 2 minutes left until the end of the exam). However, he then tells everybody to stop writing less than one minute later.
Correction: The show is not in real-time.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005)
Corrected entry: Even though Charlie is in England, he picks up a 10 *dollar* bill.
Correction: Not a mistake. London has been an international hub since the beginning of travel across the English channel, the finding of another type of currency there is common place. Besides, I've picked up a Euro bill in Switzerland as well and we don't have the Euro as currency.

The Rock (1996)
Corrected entry: In one scene of the shower-room shootout you can see a SEAL land on the floor with close-up of his face. On the floor next to him there is a spent 9mm round. If you take a closer look, you can clearly see that it is a blank for use in movies. The "bullet" is still there, but on a real 9mm round the bullet will be missing when the spent cartridge is ejected from the gun.
Correction: There are malfunctions with every weapon, it might have been a round which wasn't fired and just ejected during a reload. God knows how many times I've had malfunctions with my rifle and my side arm during military service.

National Treasure (2004)
Corrected entry: When they search on Yahoo shortly after Ian talks with the kid, watch the computer screen closely. There's already a search up there, and instead of clicking 'enter', they select the first search entry.
Correction: The guy firstly enters STOW, that is also what it says, "top web results: 6903 search hits for the word "STOW". Then he enters STOW Declaration of Independence. and hits the search button with the mouse, when it shows him Liberty Bell as top result. The next click you hear after a short period of time when we don't see the screen, enough time for the guy on the laptop to move the mouse to the link and click it.

Cliffhanger (1993)
Corrected entry: Throughout the entire movie you never see their breath even though it is cold.
Correction: Yes you do see breath. See the scene with the night vision.
Correction: If the air is very dry you don't see the breath. Depending on the saturation of the air you can see breath or not, it is even possible to see the breath in rather warm temperatures if the air is saturated enough.
Once the temperature drops below a certain degree, around 42°F, you'll always see your breath, no matter how dry it is. Although, as you stated, if combined relative humidity is 100%, you'll be able to see your breath at any temperature.

National Treasure (2004)
Corrected entry: In the Charlotte, Ian has one of his goons point a gun at Ben. When Ben starts pleading for his life, he addresses Ian (Sean Bean) as "Sean."
Correction: Ban Gates addresses not Ian as Sean but the other guy pointing the gun as Shaw. If you read the subtitles this can be confirmed.

The Patriot (2000)
Corrected entry: When Charlotte gets the children out of bed to flee from the British, Susan is barefooted when Charlotte picks her up and they flee the house. The next morning, Susan has shoes.
Correction: This is not a mistake, we don't know what happened in the meantime, they'd have had several hours to get some shoes from somewhere else (e.g. form another family on their way to their refuge).

Correction: Why is this a mistake, they can name their products however they want to. They aren't bound to the phonetic alphabet. Probably they have used Golf and Hotel already for something else and wanted to avoid confusion. It's not like this is a military outfit, it's civilian and so can use whatever terminology they like, however illogical.
