Continuity mistake: In the scene when they defend the bridge in Ramelle there is a soldier who wants to attach a stick-bomb at a German tank. When he walks out to the tank you see that he is wearing a beige uniform. In the next shot you see that the uniform has changed into a dark green, and you also see that it is a puppet that explodes. Gone in 60 Seconds (2000)
Revealing mistake: When Memphis delivers Elanore to Calitri, he gets punched and falls to the ground. At his feet you see orange tape as stage markings. (01:38:15)

The Rock (1996)
Factual error: When Cage gets into the Ferrari, the camera changes for a few seconds showing the gearbox. In slow motion it is obvious that Cage shifts into 3rd gear instead of 1st, however the car makes a very impressive tyre-burning start. The F355 is indeed a very powerful car, but this would be simply impossible to do in 3rd gear. (00:44:14)
Suggested correction: He was not doing a stationary burnout. He was moving forward the entire time, and is completely possible especially if the car isn't stock.

Saving Private Ryan (1998)
Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the film when we see Tom Hanks below the big bunker, and he tells Jackson to get in an impact crater, Jackson kisses his cross with his right hand, but in the following shot, he is suddenly holding his rifle. (00:20:20)

Entrapment (1999)
Continuity mistake: In the scene when Gin and Mac are in the elevator, Mac puts in the keycard and presses 86. You then see the position indicator (PI) which shows the floor (70) in an LED, a red up arrow, and the words "EXECUTIVE FLOOR ACCESS GRANTED" in a red box. But when they are trying to escape, after Mac disengages the Door Hold button, you see that the PI has changed. It is all one colour and the floor number is written in a computer font. National Treasure (2004)
Continuity mistake: In the treasure vault Riley stands in front of that emerald statue, and on its chest you can see a part which is not covered in dust. In the next shot the whole chest is covered in dust. The clean area coincides with the later placement of Riley's cheek, which means the first shot was actually taken after the embracing and implemented before. (01:50:45)

National Treasure (2004)
Continuity mistake: When Gates and Dr. Chase are in the store to buy new clothes, Abigail is coming out of the changing cubicle. She opens the door wing while having both hands on the edge, when the shot changes, she leans on the edge with both forearms. (01:07:50)

National Treasure (2004)
Other mistake: When Gates writes down the numbers from the back of the Declaration of Independence he forgets one number. On the document there are the following numbers: 11-6-6, 12-18-7, 14-3-7. Ben however only writes down 11-6-6, 14-3-7 and then keeps on. (01:01:10)

The Last Samurai (2003)
Continuity mistake: When Algren teaches a soldier to shoot, the soldier has a chin strap below his lip. Yet, in the next shot there is no strap. (00:19:35)

National Treasure (2004)
Revealing mistake: When Ben and Ian get the two different fingerprints from two different people, Mr. Ferguson [random security guard] and Abigail Chase, they are the exact same fingerprints. This can be confirmed on the DVD with pause and zoom. Moreover, the two scans show exactly the same emphasis/pressure on different regions within the print, with more light and detail on the left side and little in the center. (00:39:15)

National Treasure (2004)
Continuity mistake: When Ben finds the glasses at Independence Hall, it is 3:20 because of daytime savings time. However when the bad guys chase Abigail and Riley in the market they pass a large clock showing the time to be 2:37. (01:12:15 - 01:17:10)
Suggested correction: Actually, many places at a market like that sell old antiques and even old clocks. That could simply be one of them. Even if it was supposed to tell time, people often forget to set their clocks forward or back for Daylight Savings Time, and that could have happened here. Many of the clocks at my home and school are currently like that.

Armageddon (1998)
Continuity mistake: When the military come to get Harry from the rig, you see the shot going between the two. In three shots, Harry has a large speck of oil on his nose but on the fourth it has disappeared. (00:21:20)

Armageddon (1998)
Factual error: After crashing on the asteroid, A.J. walks outside surveying the wreckage while debris is strewn out burning on the ground. This is wrong, as oxygen is needed to make something burn, and there is no oxygen on the asteroid. (01:27:40)

Armageddon (1998)
Continuity mistake: There are two crews boarding their spacecraft, called "Freedom" and "Independence." They are mounting a ramp and when on top, there is a crew member who directs the two different crews toward their ship: "Independence on the left, Freedom on the right." We even see the ships (in their initial launch phases) right next to each other - you can see one right next to the other as they launch. Then, once they're airborne, we see a long shot of the two bright engines, miles apart. (01:03:35 - 01:06:25)

Armageddon (1998)
Continuity mistake: After Sharpe and Stamper have the argument on the asteroid, Truman says they need the radio back up. When he says this, you see the countdown clock for the asteroid which is at five hours and 12 minutes. A bit later in the film, after the nuke was shut down by a technician at NASA, one of the Air Force Sergeants takes the terminal. In the background, you can see the clock again but the time on it is at six hours and 49 minutes. (01:37:00 - 01:42:50)

Coyote Ugly (2000)
Continuity mistake: At the beginning "Pete" asks Violet for her autograph on a time card. She signs it and the "T" is not crossed, and when Pete puts it on the board it is crossed. Then at the end when Violet's dad buys it from Pete it is again not crossed. Also if you look at the "V" when she signs it and after Pete puts it up they are different. And lastly, when Violet signs her last name it is spaced but when Pete puts it up it is jumbled together. Her signature is different all around. (00:01:30 - 01:27:30)

Coyote Ugly (2000)
Continuity mistake: When the guy at the bar orders 8 shots and Cammy (the blonde) tosses up 8 shot glasses in a fancy manner, as you can see she throws them up into 2 rows of 4. But then in the next shot they're all just in one long row of eight. It would be impossible for her to arrange them that quickly - there is only about a second between the two shots. (00:27:40)

Saving Private Ryan (1998)
Revealing mistake: When Wade gets shot, watch the shot where Upham brings the bags up to the injured medic. The next shot there is some fog which then reveals the injured medic. In this shot, watch carefully as the cast rips away the medic's shirt. If you look near the neck, you can see the fake stomach vest he is wearing for a split second - when the actor realises he ripped too far up, he quickly covers it back up. (01:28:43)
Continuity mistake: As Higgins removes the piece of cloth from the bullet and compares it to the shirt, the blood on his hands and the way he holds the shirt differs in the close-up and wide shots. (01:32:50)

Pearl Harbor (2001)
Continuity mistake: As the Doolittle Raiders are taking off from the aircraft carrier there are several sweeping views of the carrier task force as the planes fly off. The decks of the carriers are obviously modern US carriers with the landing portion of the flight deck angled out about 10° from the catapult direction of the flight deck. (02:28:30)
