Continuity mistake: When Peter walks away from Brian with the hula hoop around his waist, he runs into the stereo, knocking a vase of flowers on the floor, shattering the vase. Next shot shows the mess cleaned up without anyone even cleaning it. (00:04:45)

Continuity mistake: When we first see all the guys at the NAAFP meeting, there are two guys in the top right corner; one with a singlet and one with brown hair and a green-brown T-shirt. In the next shot, these two guys come in from the opposite side of the screen. (00:12:15)

Continuity mistake: Just after Patrick 'kisses' his imaginary girlfriend goodbye and tells Brian to look after her, Brian switches position on the couch. When he does there is an overhead shot showing that a lot of chairs are empty and that there is no group of people sat together but as the camera changes, the gaps have gone and seats are filled.
