Continuity mistake: In the scene when Ariel saves Eric after the ship has exploded he has boots on yet when Ariel has brought him up onto shore they are off, they couldn't have fallen off since they in that time period men wore boots that have to be taken off to at least to the heal and Ariel is tying to save him so she wouldn't take the time to get them off, and leather tends to tighten up when thoroughly soaked so that is another factor to why they shouldn't have come off this also happens at the end of the film after Ursula has been killed.

Continuity mistake: In the scene when Vanessa gets covered in starfish, she then is bounced up and down by a seal, the star fish are gone.

Continuity mistake: My Lips Are Sealed Episode Number 89 Series number 4 When JD is brushing his teeth and then finds out that his brother is in the bathtub the amount of foam around his mouth changes.

Continuity mistake: In the scene after Shang became a captain, Shang says "Soldiers" there is an underneath shot of him, and there is no gray stripe on his pants but then the stripe is back in the next shot.

Continuity mistake: When one of the girls gets the blue drink all over her top we see that a lot of her white shirt has been covered in it, but when she goes into the restroom she doesn't have as much of the drink on her as before.

Continuity mistake: In the scene when the girls are in that guys apartment we see that the chip is blue, but then when the guy sees his dog eat the chip he calls it a green chip.

Continuity mistake: In the scene when we find out that Shang is alive, we see a stick floating through the water which gets caught by a tree trunk sticking out. Then when the shot goes into a close up for Shang coming into frame, the stick has suddenly disappeared.

Continuity mistake: In the first movie, the tombstones of the Fa family ancestors were shiny like a mirror. Now, in the second film, they are just normal stone tombstones.

Continuity mistake: After Scuttle takes the fork to his feathers his feathers are all puffy but then a few frames later they are suddenly back to normal without him doing anything.

Continuity mistake: Throughout the whole time when Mulan is dressed up in the beginning she never has a knot, bow or laces that should be there given the length that was tied around her waist.

Continuity mistake: In the avalanche scene the guys use a bow and arrow to save Mulan, the rope changes lengths from when they throw it to when they are pulling them up.

Continuity mistake: When Shang is talking to Mulan and is asking her name, there is a shot of Mulan and suddenly Shang comes into frame and says "What's your name." There isn't a gold string that's attaching his sword to him. It's also gone in other shots in this scene.

Continuity mistake: When the matchmaker is fighting over the cup of tea with Mulan and Mulan loses grip, the tea splashes on the matchmaker's face and no ink on her face comes off yet when Mulan throws the tea from the tea pot on her face it all runs down her face.
