Question: An Easter egg is mentioned that you highlight THX and enter 11,3,8 to get a clip. But when I enter this, nothing happens. In fact, I can only enter up to 3 digits at a time, not 4. How do you exactly unlock this clip?

Carl Missouri

Chosen answer: On the main title menu, go down to "Options," and select it. Once in the Options menu, there should be a THX logo somewhere. Highlight the logo, but don't select it. Then type in 1-1-3-8 (or if your remote requires it, 10+1, 3, 8).

Season 4 generally

Question: Strangely, unlike seasons 2 & 3, there's no option to branch the deleted scenes back in to season 4 and on disc 7, the first deleted scene is under the heading "Season 4 Director's Cut Promo". Is this really as black and white as it seems or am I missing something? Has anyone heard any rumours, or facts, that Fox is planning to release Season 4 Director's Cut in the near future?

Chimera

Chosen answer: The "Director's Cut Promo" on Disc 7 is just that: a Season 4 promo, in the form of a prequel that bridges Seasons 3 and 4. The context of "Director's Cut" that we normally think of has nothing to do with it.

Star Wars (1977)

Question: Why does Obi-Wan say he doesn't ever remember owning a droid when he had some type of ownership over R2 in episodes 2 and 3?

Answer: It could be old age. But also, Ben never technically owned R2. They interacted with each other to a degree, but Ben was never R2's owner in the same sense that Luke was. R2 spent most of his time with Anakin - Obi-Wan was with R4.

Answer: According to the "Memorable Quotes" section at the IMDB, the words are "I'm gonna slash and gash, cut another hole in your ass. I spill blood on the walls, then play tennis with your balls. CSI: Miami (2002)

Answer: Earlier in the episode, Horatio tells Mac that Penrod was seen in Tribeca getting his leg set, only to bolt when he learned a nurse wised up the cops. Caine and the NYPD probably got Penrod's address from the hospital.

Answer: It was sent to Harry by Professor McGonagall. She was able to persuade Dumbledore to bend the rule regarding first years and broomsticks, so Harry would be allowed to play on the Gryffindor Qudditch team.

Question: I've heard that the cast is entirely British, except for one American. Who is the American? These ALL seem like British actors or actresses to me.

Answer: While she is known as a British actress, Zoe Wannamaker (Madam Hooch) was born in the United States. Another American that makes an appearance in the film is Verne Troyer (Mini-Me from the "Austin Powers" films), who plays Griphook the Goblin.

Question: Why didn't Val Kilmer play Batman for this movie? Was he not offered the part? Did he not want it? What happened?

Answer: Kilmer wanted to reprise the role, but couldn't because he was already committed to The Saint (1997).

Cubs Fan

Answer: Some say the real reason is Val has a reputation for being difficult and arrogant. He alienated both cast and crew.

Question: I am looking for the name of an episode. In it, a girl riding a horse finds two dead bodies in a pipe. They were sisters, one of which did nothing but order clothing on-line. It turned out that the other sister killed her, and her boyfriend, an ex-prisoner whose screen name was Apollo, killed the other sister. Any ideas?

Answer: According to the "Guest Appearances" section on the IMDB, the episode you're looking for is Episode 2.12, " "You've Got Male."

Cubs Fan

Answer: No. Anakin was aware of only one child. The first time he learns about Leia's relationship to Luke (and thus to himself) is during his lightsaber battle with Luke in "Return of the Jedi."

Question: Does any one know the Japanese golfer joke Uncle Vernon was telling at the beginning of the movie?

Answer: The joke goes like this, "A California business man, while in Japan for some business meetings and a few rounds of golf, arrived in Tokyo a day earlier than expected. Feeling lonely that evening, he employed the services of a beautiful young Japanese girl to be his companion for the evening. Although the Japanese girl spoke very little English and the businessman spoke no Japanese, their passion roared and in the heat of the moment she began yelling "Machigatta ana. Machigatta ana" Hearing this, the Californian believed he had pleased his female Japanese friend and soon afterwards went to sleep. The next day while playing golf with his Japanese business colleague, his Japanese partner holed his shot from 170 yards away. Wanting to impress his friend, the Californian began yelling, "Machigatta ana!" The Japanese business man turned to the Californian and with a confused look on his face asked, "What do you mean wrong hole?"

Answer: The punchline is actually quite vulgar, but you can read a copy of the joke at http://www.sugarquill.net/forum/index.php?s=1a43217a81cc245555ad6ac82d3bcc5b&showtopic=6214&view=findpost&p=225388.

Question: When Yoda and Sidious are fighting in the Senate, is the song that is playing the Phantom Menace theme song?

Answer: Well, it's not really the "theme song" for "The Phantom Menace," but it *is* "Duel of the Fates," which is the song that plays over the duel between Qui-Gon/Obi-Wan and Darth Maul in Episode I.
