Continuity mistake: Right when Love-a-Lot Bear calls attention to Bedtime Bear falling overboard, Tenderheart is seen navigating the cloud clipper. Take a look at his steering wheel, which is mounted in front of the pedestal. A few moments later when a whirlpool strikes, the wheel spins out of control; but now it happens to be fastened behind the pedestal. (00:35:50)

Continuity mistake: When Friend Bear is peering through Wish Bear's star-o-scope during the opening credits, a rainbow and pink cloud hut are visible in the background. As soon as the shot changes, Friend Bear walks off screen. But now both the rainbow and hut have disappeared completely. (00:03:30)

Continuity mistake: Inside the trailer where Nicholas gets chastised for spilling the magic trunk's contents, notice how Fetuccini is wearing two white gloves. Meanwhile, Tenderheart Bear is right outside to overhear what's going on. But the moment he tiptoes into the trailer, Fetuccini shouts "Enough of your sorries!" and briefly has no glove on his left hand. (00:07:55)

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Playful Heart Monkey compares Kim and Jason's characteristics to those of lions with haircuts, Friend Bear is shown leaning on Secret Bear. But after Kim and Jason correct Playful Heart, he walks away causing the bears to lose their balance. But somehow they switch positions right before falling to the clouds. (00:28:35)

Continuity mistake: Whenever Nicholas is shown casting his evil spells, a podium is present several feet away from the cauldron. Fast forward to the climactic finale. After the final ingredient drops into the cauldron, Tenderheart Bear runs over to reason with Nicholas; but notice how the podium has briefly vanished at this point. (00:59:50)

Continuity mistake: As the camera zooms in on a heart-shaped table where all of the Care Bears and Cousins are seated listening to Tenderheart speak, Braveheart Lion (immediate left) is shown cradling Baby Tugs with his right arm and Baby Hugs with his left. Continuity mistake: Once Tenderheart Bear releases himself from the cage, he grabs a key and starts towards the tent where Nicholas will soon cast an evil spell upon the audience. A couple of empty benches are visible inside, but in the following shot - from within the tent - children are now seated at every one. (00:18:45)

Continuity mistake: When Nicholas casts an evil spell on his audience in the tent, Tenderheart jumps on stage to reason with him. Notice how the stage's floorboards are installed lengthwise. Continuity mistake: When Friend Bear is working beneath the hood of a cloud mobile, Secret Bear relaxes in the driver's seat. Just then, Wish Bear runs over to break some news. In the following shot she reaches out to tap Secret Bear's head, but now he's repositioned outside of the cloud mobile. (00:03:15)

Continuity mistake: When Baby Hugs and Tugs are standing by the rainbow rescue beam's control panel watching the platform, notice how the heart floor tiles are quite large. In fact, the control panel and each baby cub are able to fit on just one of them. But when Grumpy Bear runs over to the panel and starts pressing buttons a moment later, all of the tiles have now shrunk considerably in size. (00:11:30)

Continuity mistake: After Tenderheart Bear jumps from the cage, he sees the evil spirit's gold key lying halfway between two floorboards near his right foot. But in the next shot this key is located in a different spot on the floor - beside four nail heads which weren't previously there. (00:18:35)

Continuity mistake: Braveheart Lion's orange tail has a tassel on the end of it which is noticeable throughout the movie. However in one scene when the Care Bear family is lined up and exiting the Hall of Hearts, Secret Bear shouts "Yeah!" and causes everybody to tumble like dominoes. At the front of the line, Braveheart is seen rising to his feet; but notice how the tassel is now missing. (00:27:55 - 01:08:35)

Continuity mistake: During the opening song, Secret Bear and Friend Bear are getting ready to take off for Earth in a cloud mobile when they're halted by the star buddy traffic controller blowing a whistle. As soon as Champ Bear flies by in his rainbow roller, the star buddy signals for the other two bears to proceed; but suddenly the whistle is missing in the following shot. (00:03:45)

Continuity mistake: Near the beginning, Friend and Secret Bear are walking down a trail in the park trying to get Kim and Jason's attention. At first they aren't successful, so they stop for a moment. Here we can see grass and several trees & shrubs next to Secret Bear, but in the next shot a trash container is suddenly visible beside him, too. (00:05:40)

Continuity mistake: When Swift Heart Rabbit taunts the evil spirit's tree, a large vine with four fingers swings around to chase her. After she circles the first branch a moment later, the same vine is shown having only three fingers. (00:41:25)

Continuity mistake: The moment Nicholas is ready to cast his final spell, several Care Bears roll into the castle on a line of carts, all of which display an emblem up front. Continuity mistake: When Playful Heart Monkey climbs the tree during "Home Is In Your Heart," he has a small red heart on his right side. But as he swings from a limb in the next shot, this heart briefly appears on his left side. (00:30:40)
