Continuity mistake: Right before Fetuccini leaves Nicholas alone to clean up the contents of his magic trunk, plenty of sunlight is shining through the doorway where Tenderheart stands watching. But in the next scene where Nicholas is lighting a lamp and placing objects on the table, the doorway appears completely dark - as though it were a closet. Had Fetuccini closed the trailer's outside door, this might be justified. (00:08:05)

Continuity mistake: In the scene where the evil spirit's purple tree threatens Kim and Jason, Braveheart Lion leaves the others behind to scout ahead for a moment. As he speaks, notice how Playful Heart Monkey's tail is lying on the clouds beneath him. But in the next shot where everyone breathes a sigh of relief, his tail is suddenly standing upright. Continuity mistake: When Secret Bear is leading Kim and Jason on a tour of Care-a-Lot, he pauses at the entrance for a moment and turns around. The door frame behind him is bordered with red hearts; but in the next shot when Secret Bear struggles to remove his hat, the red hearts are gone. (00:12:50)

Continuity mistake: As Fetuccini scolds Nicholas for dropping the magic trunk, Tenderheart Bear manages to sneak into the trailer - stopping near the corner of a desk and lifting his right arm to his face. But now, in the next shot, the right arm rests at his side. (00:08:00)

Continuity mistake: When Grumpy Bear is trying to fix the broken rainbow rescue beam after the cloud quakes, he seems to be missing a part that's shaped like a lollipop with a bent stick, having two small pink hearts positioned on either side. Just then, Good Luck Bear walks down a ramp and happens upon a lollipop, which is good enough for Grumpy. But in the following shot where Grumpy praises Baby Hugs and Tugs, one of the small pink hearts has disappeared. (00:39:35)

Continuity mistake: When Grumpy Bear is performing repairs on the rainbow rescue beam, he slides under the control panel using a heart-shaped creeper. While he works, the pointed end of the creeper faces outward. Soon Grams Bear walks over needing help finding Baby Hugs and Tugs. But when he rises to his feet and rolls the creeper out of the way, it's suddenly facing the opposite direction. (00:10:00)

Continuity mistake: At the very beginning when Mr. Cherrywood is juggling for the children, a toddler in the background watches from her crib - which has a gate made up of six posts. Right before Mr. Cherrywood makes his way to the door, a close up of the toddler's crib reveals a gate with five posts instead. (00:00:55)

Continuity mistake: When Tenderheart Bear is in the trailer watching Nicholas and Fetuccini from the doorway, notice the wall below Fetuccini's left hand as he speaks: it's plain, flat pieces of wood. But when Tenderheart is suddenly forced to hide beneath the desk, he spots a large hole in the wall through which he can see Nicholas. It shouldn't be there at all since the adjacent wall on the opposite side had no visible holes in the previous shot. (00:08:05)

Continuity mistake: After the rainbow rescue beam transports Kim, Jason, Secret Bear and Friend Bear to the Hall of Hearts, several Care Bears are pictured just standing in awe. On the left is Champ Bear. His tummy symbol consists of a trophy with a small red heart in the center. Towards the end of "Nobody Cares Like a Bear," Champ is blowing bubbles with two other Care Bears, but in this shot his trophy is drawn without a heart. (00:11:50 - 00:14:25)

Continuity mistake: When Nicholas remembers that Fetuccini is still under a sleeping spell, he starts running over to awaken him. But somewhere in between the two shots of Nicholas approaching the trailer and Fetuccini appearing to say "It's showtime!", a yellow piece of trim suddenly emerges below the door. (01:05:35)

Continuity mistake: After Tenderheart Bear orders the other Care Bears and Cousins to seek out Nicholas in the carnival, Love-a-Lot and Gentle Heart sneak up to the trailer - from which he suddenly emerges in a fit of crazed laughter. In this shot, notice how the grounds are clean. But once Nicholas makes his way to the trash can hoping to find some ingredients for his spell, the ground is suddenly covered with litter. Only moments later when Love-a-Lot and Gentle Heart are hanging from the sign, look beneath the trailer: somehow the trash has managed to disappear. (00:52:30)

Continuity mistake: When the cloud clipper is rising from beneath the river, a dozen Care Bears are lined up watching nearby. Notice Love-a-Lot Bear standing between Grumpy and Cheer Bear. In this shot, her tummy symbol consists of a pink heart on the left and a red heart on the right. But when she's walking aboard the clipper, the hearts have switched positions. (00:26:15)

Continuity mistake: During the first cloud quake on Care-a-Lot, Grams Bear is seen escaping from the Hall of Hearts on a rainbow walkway. In the next shot she turns around and heads back indoors, but now the colors beneath her feet are running in the opposite direction (as though the walkway changed its position). (00:21:45)

Continuity mistake: After a second cloud quake wreaks havoc on Care-a-Lot, the scene changes to a close-up of the castle. Inside, Nicholas is shown running over to a podium with a closed book in his hands. He sets it down; but in the next shot where he turns around to speak into a boiling cauldron, the book is now opened up. Only once, but with immense effort, does this book get closed throughout the entire movie (excepting this shot, which appears to have slipped through the cracks). (00:25:05)

Continuity mistake: When Nicholas is busy picking up pieces from Fetuccini's magic trunk inside the trailer, the evil spirit's book - wrapped in a blue & yellow cloth and fastened with a red seal - suddenly slips from the trunk and onto the floor. When he reaches out to lift up the book and place it upon a desk, note now the trailer's floorboards are running lengthwise. As the red seal melts away, the floor is partially visible below the desk. But notice how the boards are now running in the opposite direction. (00:08:35)

Continuity mistake: When Cozy Heart Penguin realizes that the cloud clipper has been seized by a whirlpool, Love-a-Lot and Funshine Bear grab on to the starboard side. Beneath the surface is the evil spirit's fish, churning the water. Once it stops swimming around, two subsequent overhead shot of the cloud clipper suddenly reveal a couple of different Care Bears on the starboard side. (00:37:10)

Continuity mistake: When Baby Hugs and Tugs are sitting on Braveheart's lap as Tenderheart makes an announcement, each cub is shown with a symbol on the white fur of their tummies. But a few shots later, Baby Tugs is drawn without a symbol. As a matter of fact, his entire tummy is now drawn completely blue instead of white. (01:07:10)

Continuity mistake: In the shot of Fetuccini completing a house of cards, his vest is fastened with two gold buttons. But soon Nicholas causes the house to topple. Consequently, Fetuccini lets out a deep sigh; but now each of his buttons is gray. (00:07:15)

Continuity mistake: As the cloud clipper is racing through a canyon in the Forest of Feelings, Tenderheart Bear says "We're going for a ride!" Here, the steering wheel is shown. It's composed of four posts running through the center of the hub, each having two handles on either side of the rim. At any rate, the Care Bears soon enter a dark cave and must slow to a crawl. Moments later, Bright Heart Raccoon directs the clipper away from a big rock. When he says "Whew, that was close!" take a look over his left shoulder and notice how the steering wheel now has a completely different fashion - there are only handles mounted around the rim, and no posts run through it at all. Continuity mistake: After Nicholas drops the magic trunk, Fetuccini orders him to gather the unbroken contents scattered across the floor. First he grabs a checkerboard and sets it on the table with hinges facing right. Then he picks up what appears to be a book wrapped in blue & yellow cloth and sets it on the table as well. In the following shot, a red seal on the book melts away. But take another look at the checkerboard: somehow it's been turned partially around, and now the hinges are facing outward instead of to the right. Later on - in the scene where Nicholas manages to open the book - the checkerboard rotates once again. This time, hinges appear in the back. (00:08:05 - 00:16:55)
