Continuity mistake: When Jim is wandering the deserted streets after waking up from his coma, there is one overhead shot of Jim walking down the street, towards a silver car. When it then cuts to a closer shot a red double decker bus appears underneath the "Landmark Advertising" billboard. A small white van/truck has appeared in front of a medium-sized white lorry, and the position of the silver car parked in the centre of the traffic lights grid changes between subsequent shots. Also between these and following shots, the position of the trash littering the streets differs. (00:11:05)

Continuity mistake: The photo Edna sends to Bart differs when he shows his parents. The angle is different from what it was previously, revealing part of a photo frame on the wall which wasn't there before, and the sheets/pillows on the bed are different, and her eyes are closed when they look at it, but when Bart looked at it, they were open. Continuity mistake: In 'The Thing and I' Dr. Hibbert is about to explain Bart's irregular birth. In the closeup before the story, Dr. Hibbert has a stethoscope around his neck. This wasn't there in previous shots. (00:03:50)

Yet when the door is closing after they have gone through it, though you can still see the outline of the door, the door knob has mysteriously vanished. (00:26:15)

Visible crew/equipment: When Barbara tries to leave the house and falls into the sandworm's world you can clearly see her knee pads. (00:19:00)

Visible crew/equipment: When Adam, Barbara and Juno ascend a staircase, talking about how Adam and Barbara should start more simply if they want to scare the Deitz family out of their home, there are two tape markers - a yellow and a blue one, very clearly on one of the steps. (00:34:35)

Continuity mistake: In 'Nightmare Cafeteria,' in the opening shot we see Bart standing on a desk in the back row. It cuts to a closeup, and he is now on a desk in the second row from the back, as well as people appearing around him, such as Milhouse, who wasn't even in the classroom in the opening shot. Continuity mistake: When Deeds enters the basketball stadium, in a closeup there is a man playing a violin. In the following wide shot though, he disappears, but he returns in the next shot, when Deeds walks past the old man, the two chefs, he then walks past the violin player. (01:04:25)

Continuity mistake: When Edna sits at her desk saying "Oh, Woodrow. How could you stand me up?" the clock reads 3 O'clock. Seconds later, as Bart talks with Edna, the clock reads 4 O'clock. (00:16:45)

Continuity mistake: When Sarah is hanging on the branch over the bog, Ludo calls a rock and the rock rolls into the bog, and is pretty round, with no large flat areas on it. However when it's floating in the bog, Sarah jumps onto it and the rock now has a very large flat area. (00:58:45)

Continuity mistake: When Jason and Kimberley are jumping on the beds, the bolster on one of the beds falls off in one shot, but is back on in the next. (00:10:50)

Continuity mistake: In the scene where the women are putting the eggs into the car and Ouiser walks over to Annelle and begins to converse with her, she is holding a carton of the eggs. The two front corners of the eggs keep changing colors as the shots keep changing from Ouiser and Annelle speaking.
