The Simpsons (1989)
Corrected entry: When Bart is showing his Soap Box racer To Martin and his other friends, we see an oil spill on the driveway which is grey. In another shot, the oil is black.
Correction: The view of the oil spill is from completely different angles so it's just a trick of the light. Oil can also be rainbow coloured in the right light.

The Simpsons (1989)
Corrected entry: As Bart tells his friends about his racer, there is a set of stairs visible at an impossible area of the garage. (00:09:00)
Correction: The stairs are inside the house, we are seeing the underside of them.
Future episodes show the garage is on a corridor to the kitchen, nowhere near the stairs.

The Simpsons (1989)
Corrected entry: On his soapbox derby racer, Bart is pounding his hammer on an area that doesn't have nails in it. (00:08:00)
Correction: Pure speculation, we can't see the area he is hitting in enough detail to know if there are nails or not.

The Simpsons (1989)
Corrected entry: During the finals, if there was a paper speedometer on the Honor Roller, why would the speedometer be working at all then? (00:20:10)
Correction: This is a simple one, we never see the speedometer working. We see the needle fixed in one position before it peels off so no mistake.

Corrected entry: Homer complains that he missed a part of Joe Theisman. It's a TAPE. He can just watch it over again. (00:07:10)

Correction: During this scene all the characters watching the race are blurred to give the impression of speed so there's no way to know if it's Bart since we can barely make out the faces. It's certainly someone wearing a red t-shirt but that doesn't make it Bart especially since the person appears to be much taller than a small boy.
