Continuity mistake: Before the lightsaber battle between Grievous and Kenobi, the area where they are standing and where Kenobi "drops" the weight on the magnadroids is a solid floor. The whole preparation-for-battle-scene does not include much movement from the actors. As soon as Grievous begins to move in on Kenobi, both of them are suddenly standing on some sort of bridge, without even passing the dropped weight. (00:56:15)

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005)
Continuity mistake: As Anakin is reentering the elevator from the top, you can see the hole being very close to the entrance door of the elevator. As we see from the subsequent shot, Anakin is landing between Obi-Wan and the aft elevator wall (Obi-Wan does a half turn to face Anakin), whereas according to the hole, Anakin should have landed either directly on top of Obi-Wan or between Obi-Wan and the elevator door. Aliens (1986)
Continuity mistake: Director's Cut: During the briefing scene on board of the Sulaco, Lt. Gorman begins the briefing. He gets interrupted by Hudson. Before the shot changes to Hudson, you can see Gorman standing straight in front of the marines and looking straight ahead. In the shot from Hudson, you can see Gorman looking to the right to face Hudson. He still should be looking straight ahead. (00:32:00)

The Man with Two Brains (1983)
Factual error: Part of the movie takes place in Vienna, Austria. Although the number plates of the cars are like those in Austria at that time, neither the road markings nor the street car which can be seen when both Steve Martin and Kathleen Turner are "climbing" outside their hotel look like those in Vienna.

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005)
Continuity mistake: Just before the lightsaber battle between Mace Windu and Darth Sidious, we see the lightsaber of Sidious ejected from his sleeve and he grabs it with his finger down the length of it. We then instantly cut to a wide shot and he's suddenly gripping it with all his fingers curled in. (01:08:30)

Stargate SG-1 (1997)
Factual error: Earth's Stargate is dialed up more then once in series 1. Mostly in the first episodes, the passive gate is also shown with a rotating dialer ring when being called. This is not correct. The called gate only illuminates the chevrons. (This is classed as a 'factual' mistake within the show, not a 'continuity' error, and the option to change type has been removed.)

Bean (1997)
Continuity mistake: When Bean is in the interrogation room, the scene switches several times from Bean's view to the cop's view. In one shot, the small end of Bean's tie is hidden behind the wide end. In the next shot, the small end is visible. This happens two more times. (00:31:10)

The Incredibles (2004)
Trivia: During the chase scene when the disc-like aircraft of Syndrome are hunting Dash, for a short time it sounds exactly like the pod-racers from "Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace". They then change to sound like the speeder bikes from Return of the Jedi.

G.I. Jane (1997)
Continuity mistake: During a training session, Jordan forms a human ladder with another trainee to get her team over an obstacle. The Master Chief is watching this scene through a night-vision scope on his rifle. His line of sight is initially level, then suddenly alters to show the view from a lower perspective.

Treasure Planet (2002)
Continuity mistake: In the center of the planet, there is a scene in which Jim is helplessly hanging on a wall and Silver holds on the ship full of Flint's treasures. In the wide shot John Silver and Jim Hawkins are far away from each other, in the next close up the can almost touch each other, and in the next wide shot, they are far away again.

Yet, the Secret Service lady's jeans change from dry to wet and back again. The same when she is chased back through the tunnel, her and the Secret Service guy's trousers are dry.
