Continuity mistake: When the football players are trying to chase Lucas off of the field, Lucas is not wearing or carrying his helmet, and it isn't seen anywhere near him. When the players give up and decide to continue playing with Lucas on the field, in the closeup Lucas is putting on his helmet, which has magically appeared.

Continuity mistake: Happy and his new caddy are discussing the shape of the green and the caddy says the green is slanted to the left. When Happy tells him it only seems that way because he's missing a shoe, the caddy is standing with his feet shoulder-width apart. When the camera cuts to the close-up of his feet, they're together, yet the caddy didn't move.

Continuity mistake: When Gordon's long-time friend shows him the hockey skates he'd like him to put on, he's holding them with his fingers on the laces and his thumbs underneath. Continuity mistake: We first see from the inside of the door (and therefore backwards) the instructions that Mr. Miyagi leaves for Daniel to paint the house. In the next shot we see the same note from the outside - from Daniel's viewpoint. Clearly they are two different notes. The left & right arrows switch directions, the drawings of the hands change, the position of Miyagi's signature changes, and the placement of some of the exclamation points changes.

Continuity mistake: When Joe Clark is having his talk with Sams on the edge of the roof of the school, Sams is on the right and Clark is on the left (when viewed from the ground). When they're done talking, Sams turns to his left and walks away - turning to his left would have made him fall off the roof after just a few steps.

Continuity mistake: During the Howard Marks previsions, Anderton notices that the two images of the kid and the man show the kid on different sides. At first, he rotates his hand counter-clockwise (from his point-of-view) to see the image where the kid is on his right, and clockwise to the one where the kid is on the left. The camera cuts away, then cuts back; now the opposite is true (clockwise = kid is on the right, counter-clockwise = kid on left).

Continuity mistake: When Lawler smacked Carrey off his chair in the David Letterman scene, the hit was so hard that it made Carrey's mouth bleed (you have to look very carefully). When he stands up and is shown close up again, the blood is gone. (Incidentally, the reason Lawler hit him so hard was that Carrey constantly stayed in character throughout filming, and taunted him relentlessly. Lawler decided he'd had enough.)
