Continuity mistake: When Trent and Bree are having sex, the ceiling fan is on then off.
Friday the 13th (2009)
Directed by: Marcus Nispel
Starring: Danielle Panabaker, Jared Padalecki, Derek Mears, Amanda Righetti
Genres: Horror
Visible crew/equipment: A couple of times when the group are sitting around the campfire, you can see square set lights reflected in Wade's glasses. (00:05:45)
Continuity mistake: When Clay and Jenna leave the lodge and walk over to his motorbike Clay has his bag on his left shoulder. In the next shot it is instantly in his right hand. Then when he sits on the bike the bag is still in his hand, but in the very next shot it's suddenly back on his shoulder. (00:37:55)
Trivia: According to Michael Bay, Travis Van Winkle's Trent is the exact same Trent from the Transformers movie, meaning that both movies take place in the same universe.
Suggested correction: This info has been proven to be wrong. In Transformers, Travis Van Winkle plays Trent DeMarco, while here he plays Trent Sutton.
While I don't think Michael Bay ever directly said they exist in the same universe (if he did, I can't find it, so a link to him saying it should be provided). However, the films, as is, never reveal Trent's last name. For Friday the 13th, "Sutton" comes from a deleted scene, and "DeMarco" comes from the novelization of the "Transformers" film.
To add, the trivia never stated what Trent's last name was. Only that they were the same character.
Trivia: Filmmakers were reluctant to cast actor Derek Mears in the role of Jason Voorhees because he's a very nice person in real life.
Trivia: In one of Jason's tunnels, there is a wheelchair. One of Jason's victims in "Friday the 13th Part 2" was in a wheelchair.
Pamela Voorhees: Did you know a young boy drowned here? He was my son. And today, is his birthday.
Chewie: I would have better luck having sex with a penguin than I would with that girl.
Chewie: [while watching Bree dancing.] In my next life I want to come back as one of the buttons on the ass pockets of her jean shorts.
Question: It appears Jason has upsized his shack in this version. He now lives in an abandoned house instead of a rundown shack we see in Part 2. Plus the house has an extensive tunnel system. Finally, where does the electric bill get sent?
Answer: It's the former summer camp. I would believe they had a generator or two.
Answer: It's possible that he has a generator.
Where did he get the generator from? Home Depot?
Question: In the beginning, Richy gets his foot caught in a bear trap. Did Jason put this there or did the people put it there?
Chosen answer: It was left by hunters. Jason doesn't have the mental capacity to set traps for his victims.
Jason had set up an elaborate warning trip wire that rang bells at his house. I am sure he could have set a bear trap.
I agree. Jason has shown to be quite intelligent and even able to carefully plan his attacks so setting up a bear trap wouldn't be hard to do.
Question: How could Whitney have lived at Jason's underground hideout for 6 weeks without food?
Chosen answer: When Jason brought her brother's backpack, you can see a small table next to the mattress with some bottles and cans, there is also something what looks like bag of chips (or maybe marshmallows?). I'm sure that he knew that she needs food, and brought her something from campers or cabins.
