Continuity mistake: The birth of the Predalien in this movie is completely different than it was in the first AVP. The lights on the table are different and the Predalien bursts out differently than in the first film. (00:01:30)
Aliens vs Predator: Requiem (2007)
Directed by: Colin Strause, Greg Strause
Starring: John Ortiz, Reiko Aylesworth, Steven Pasquale, Johnny Lewis
Factual error: The uniform the female soldier is wearing when she comes back home is all wrong: the camo pattern is that of the USMC digital desert uniform but it has "US ARMY" chest tags (in a strange size and position, by the way). The US flag and unit insignia are on the wrong arms. The cut of the jacket is ACU, the pants are true USMC. (00:15:00)
Continuity mistake: When the guy with the predator gun shoots the gate at the end, so they go to the chopper, the wire fence keeps changing its shape in different shots. (01:24:25)
Trivia: The striker vehicle used for filming was a prototype vehicle since they couldn't get a working one from the military. It leaked water constantly from the rain machine and had to be dressed both inside and out to make it appear to be a functional military vehicle.
Dallas: GET to THE chopper .
Question: Was the Predator in this film dishonorable at some stage in its life? Its pincer (not sure the actual name) things on its face, one is half gone and he has scars. Is this because he's experienced (hence why he's there) or does he do it because he needs to earn honor back for something (again, hence why he's sent on a suicide mission)?
Question: (SPOILER) Any clue to explain that cryptic end phrase 'not for our planet'?
Answer: In the Alien universe the big corporation is Weyland-Yutani. The last scene shows that the company became successful because of technology they came across. Knowing that it came from an alien civilization and in Alien movies on how the "company," Weyland-Yutani attempt to gather more alien technology.
Question: I think there's some 100 years between this movie and "Alien", but is the little girl in the movie supposed to be young Ripley?
Answer: Given that Alien is set in 2122, I think it can be safely said that, no, it's not.

Chosen answer: Although not proven, the injuries and the wide array of trophies and equipment may imply a long life of hunting. Further as it is receiving official distress signals from what may have been the home world, it is possible it plays the role of 'clean up crew' to mitigate exposure of Predator activity and lost equipment to prey species.
According to the directors, the injuries were a direct homage to Broken Tusk, the primary Predator character in the original Alien vs. Predator comic book.
