Continuity mistake: When Ben Stiller goes to the girl's house in the white suit - she slams his head into the wall and a blood/makeup stain shows up...when the camera angle changes the stain is gone. (00:42:05)
Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story (2004)
Directed by: Rawson Marshall Thurber
Starring: Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, Jason Bateman, Hank Azaria, Justin Long, Rip Torn, Alan Tudyk, Stephen Root, Christine Taylor
Continuity mistake: During the final game when Justin is by himself, you can see Owen sitting on the bench without his track suit. When he throws the ball at White you can quickly see in the background Owen is standing behind Justin with his track suit on. Few shots later it cuts back to the bench and he is sitting down with the rest of the team with the uniform minus the track suit. (01:16:23 - 01:16:30)
Continuity mistake: When the guys are all sitting around (after the car wash) they are throwing ideas to save the gym. In one shot Gordon pulls his magazine out of his bag, but a split second later in a closer shot he pulls the magazine out again. (00:15:15)
Trivia: Make sure to stay after the credits have ended. There is an extra scene with Ben Stiller looking very different. (01:28:05)
Trivia: When the $100,000 is presented, White says in Spanish, "Donde esta la biblioteca". This means, "Where is the library?" (01:00:30)
Peter La Fleur: Are you sure that this is completely necessary?
Patches O'Houlihan: Necessary? Is it necessary for me to drink my own urine?
Peter La Fleur: Probably not.
Patches O'Houlihan: No, but I do it anyway because it's sterile and I like the taste.
Patches O'Houlihan: It's like watching a bunch of ret**ds trying to fuck a doorknob out there!
Cotton McKnight: I'm being told that Average Joe's does not have enough players and will be forfeiting the championship match.
Pepper Brooks: It's a bold strategy, Cotton. Let's see if it pays off for 'em.
Question: There's a guy in the bleachers with Gordon's wife during a championship game. He looks a lot like David Hasselhoff, but it's not. I was wondering if anyone knew who it was.
Question: Why did the treasure chest given to them at the end have "Deus Ex Machina" written on it?
Chosen answer: "Deus Ex Machina" means "God out of the machine." It's from Greek plays, wherein a god would appear at the end of the story to solve a problem. Nowadays it basically means that a totally new plot element appears out of nowhere and solves everything. It's an easy (and cheap) way out.
Question: What is the significance of the third judge being Chuck Norris? The thing is that everybody in the theater laughed when it showed it and he gave the thumbs up, I'm just wondering what it's all about.
Answer: There were many celebrity cameos throughout the film. It's just kind of strange that Chuck Norris would do this.

Answer: It's just a random guy in the bleachers, his hair is too light, and he is at least 20 years younger than David Hasselhoff.
