Continuity mistake: In his cameo in this film, Tim Burton is holding something in his left hand that looks like a remote of some sort when we first see him in the background. Then the shot changes to Debbie and back to Tim, but this time he doesn't have it. Then the shot changes to Debbie again and then back to Tim, and he reaches to his far right and picks it up.
Singles (1992)
Directed by: Cameron Crowe
Starring: Bridget Fonda, Kyra Sedgwick, Campbell Scott, Sheila Kelley
Continuity mistake: The scene where Alice in Chains are playing, when we enter the club the band are in full gig mode. With Layne (the singer) stripped naked from the waist up and sweaty then later in the club he has his jacket on and looks like he's fresh and just starting the gig.
Visible crew/equipment: When Steve (Campbell Scott) grabs his stuff from his drawer in his work cubicle, the partitions fall down. On the lower right hand of the screen you can see someones hand getting ready to push it over.
Trivia: When Campbell Scott is in a depressed state, lying on his back on the floor, listen to Blue Train jazz music in the background. It's the same song used in Jerry Maguire when Tom Cruise and Reene Zellweger have sex. Apparently Cameron Crowe loves this song.
Trivia: When Debbie is discussing the dating video she wants to make, she holds up a picture of, and mentions, the late actress Edie Sedgwick. Edie Sedgwick was the real-life cousin of Kyra Sedgwick, who plays Linda. (00:47:05)
Trivia: Director Cameron Crowe worked his name into several scenes in the film; for example, the name of the TV station (KRWE) and the name on the side of the truck that collides with the car Linda is driving ("Crowe's Landscaping").
Eddie: A compliment for us, is a compliment for you.
Linda Powell: I think that, a) you have an act, and that, b) not having an act is your act.
Janet Livermore: Are my breasts too small for you?
Cliff Poncier: Sometimes.
