What is the movie where the guy steals something from a woman and her mother then gives it to his sister as a wedding gift and it possesses her? (If it helps, the woman's mother did not speak English).

Does anyone know the name of the movie with a woman stuck in a house and she can't go outside. As soon as she steps out something strange happens to her. She can't breathe or walk, so she has to go back in. I was able to watch only the last 15 min of the movie years ago. But as far as I remember, her body was lying in a hospital room and somehow a doctor was trying to send her a message to make her "choose." I can barely remember that she was having a flashbacks about a guy and a baby that died in that house. After the flashbacks she got the "message" and made her "choice" and was able to go out of the house without the strange things. Hope someone can help. Thanks in advance.
I'm trying to find the name of a movie I saw maybe 15 years ago. It was a comedy about a cop who got told he had a disease meaning he had x amount of time to live. He found out his work insurance only paid out if he got killed on the job so he spent ages trying to get shot by bad guys but kept failing. At the end it is found out that his records were mixed up with a bus driver's.
Chosen answer: Short Time (1990) with Dabney Coleman.
Saw what I think might be a TV movie several years ago. The plot is about an old woman who is suffering from an illness that is causing her intense physical pain. She keeps pleading to die because of it, and when her daughter hears that she wants to die, she takes both her parents to court claiming that because of the illness, her mother can't make any rational decisions. The judge rules in favor of the daughter. The old woman's husband, upset over the ruling, kills his wife while she's lying in bed one night and when he's caught, he's charged with murder.
Answer: It could be a 1987 TV movie, Right to Die. Raquel Welch plays the dying woman.
I'm thinking of a live-action kids' movie from the late 1990s in which a dog is the lead character. At one point in the film, the dog takes a White House tour and views portraits of presidents with their pet dogs. One of the portraits is of Bill Clinton with his dog on a leash. There is not and never has been an official White House portrait of Bill Clinton with his dog on a leash, so the portrait in the film was painted as a movie prop. What movie is this?
Which series had a scene where a man had come up with a supercar which could change color, completely camouflage and could talk. The man was killed and the daughter, a lecturer, was being chased by unknown people who wanted to kill her. She was joined by a handsome guy and they were being chased down by I think FBI, and were wanted dead. I watched it in 2010.
Answer: In 2008 they made a TV movie/pilot of "Knight Rider" which turned into just 1 season. This series was a sequel of sorts to the 80's Knight Rider. Charles Graiman built K.I.T.T. 3000, a Mustang Cobra car that could talk. It was reported he was killed, and his daughter did come to identify the body, but it turns out he had actually survived. She and Mike Traucer search for answers and it turns out Traucer is Michael Knight's (David Hasselhoff) son.
There was a movie that starred Fred Ward and Alec Baldwin. The movie has Alec Baldwin going down an escalator in an airport who is greeted by a Buddhist monk. Alec breaks the man's finger, causing the monk to die from shock. Fred Ward plays a detective hired to find Alec and arrest him.
Answer: "Miami Blues" (1990).
I only remember parts of this movie - what I remember is teens who broke down stumbled across a house in the middle of nowhere. The teens went inside the two storey house, one who was a African American boy sat down in something like a lounge chair, put on his earphones and went to sleep. Another teen went to the kitchen, and the other teen girl went upstairs to take a shower. When the killer arrived home out of the woods he killed them - he went upstairs, killed the girl in the shower, then I can remember the killer sitting on the side of the bed. He opened a drawer and pulled out a finger which still had a ring on it. I can remember one of the teens running outside and hiding under the house, a cop showed up and I think the killer killed him but the girl got away. There was also a bar scene dealing with the killer.
I'm looking for the name of a movie; two kids broke their mother's favorite statue given to her by a guru or wizard. They ran away from their nanny on their skateboards to try find the old shop that sells such things, while their nanny goes out in her car looking for them before the parents come home.
Looking for the title of a book that contains a collection of short vampire stories. One story has a boy talking with another boy who claims to be a vampire and tells him the rules of vampirism. The boy says that he would like to be a vampire too but the end of the story has him changing his mind but the vampire claims that it's too late. Another story has a teenage boy waking up in a coffin and at first refusing to accept that he's dead. He eventually realizes that he's a vampire and after leaving the funeral home after attacking his uncle, he meets the girl who turned him into a vampire.
Answer: The book is titled, "Vampires."
Does anyone know the title of this movie? When I was a kid, I watched the movie and in one scene, a man said to the other man something like "Your second toe is longer than your first one. So, you must be an intelligent one." I can't give you more details because that's all I can remember.
Chosen answer: "Shallow Hal" (2001) makes a reference to this condition (called 'Morton's Toe').
Looking for a movie from the 60's about a blonde married woman with a son that has an affair with a service man. Anne Francis plays her friend. They play the game Jenga and there is something about the swallows of Capistrano. She thinks she kills him, they dump his body but he is still alive.
Answer: I'm sure this is the 1966 movie, "Moment to Moment." It starred Arthur Hill, Jean Seberg, and Honor Blackman.
A man comes to a couple claiming to be their son. The "son" also tries seducing the mother, I think.
Answer: There are several movies with that plot, but the one that comes to mind is The Stranger Within. Kate Jackson plays a mother with a fiance, who is confronted by a young man, Rick Schroeder, who claims to be her long lost son.
Below is a brief description of a scene in an American action movie. Can someone please help out to figure the title of the movie. A guy approached a lady in a room sitting on a bed, she hits him in his testicles and beat him up. Another guy came and opened the door to the room - she shoots him in the head and the blood stained the door. After which soldiers came and surrounded the building.
Looking for the title and actors in a 50's something TV show / movie about a guy in advertising or marketing who had to deliver a marketing plan, but had nothing. A word in a newspaper caught his eye and he started building upon it, without any idea of what product he could market on that lead. The strict, blue-eyed, blond iceberg of a career woman who had to work with him, despised him because, knowing he was a big player, she guessed that he had nothing. In the end he worked towards a secretive product that he revealed to the company as sweets filled with liquor. After tasting too much, the woman ended up in his apartment, wearing only his light blue pajama jacket the next morning, furious with him. In the end he and a hastily commandeered preacher caught up with her while she was rushed towards a hospital labor room on a trolley; the preacher sputtered the holy matrimony questions and the woman, still furious, screamed a pain filled "Y-e- s!" before disappearing into the labor room with the doors closing behind the trolley and nurses and doctor. So funny! I need a good laugh so I need to lay my hands on this movie. Title please?
Chosen answer: This is "Lover Come Back" from 1961, starring Rock Hudson and Doris Day.
I saw the last part of a thriller / suspense TV show / movie while flipping channels on (South African) TV one night in the 1990's. The name was something like Chase! / Catch! / Chance! / Catch, based on a novel with perhaps that title. The plot was that a woman was kept in a room in a seaside mansion in a small town by her doctor-husband. He told all people that she was ill and that he was treating her; meanwhile she believed that he was making her ill and that she would be killed (as she believed and told a private detective) like his previous wife. Whenever she heard him walking on the steps she became agitated, or when she heard him playing the piano. (Not "Julia"). The film was set in I think the 80's. The doctor was always wearing impeccable dark suits, and was the classic "tall, dark, slim and handsome" guy. She was the classic "fair skinned, dark haired, slim, beautiful lady, wearing long flowing gowns. One night she escaped through the back door and in his chase after her, the doctor was killed. Cannot remember how, or any actor's name. However, when she in the end was driving on a desert-like road, totally relaxed, and stopped by a Mexican community to ask the road, a guy in white Mexican clothes approached her, and appeared as the smiling, captivating doctor-husband...! I need the title of the movie, the book, the author and actors' names, anything please.
Name of movie from the 1960s. Where wife tricks her husband into believing he sees his dead daughter.
I need help with the name of a movie I saw in the 80's, it might be older. It was about a group of people who were lost and ended up in a crazy family's house looking for help. The family was old and their kids were old also, but they still thought they were young, and the daughter had a doll in a bassinet that they believed was alive. The group of lost teenagers spent the night at their house and the family began to try and kill them.
Answer: "American Gothic" (1988) - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0094642/.
This is about a TV commercial and I can't figure out who the actor is. I feel like he's a comedian I've seen before, so he may not be in any films. It's a Brookside chocolates commercial. He's by a field, dressed in a blue shirt, next to a table with the chocolates. He's holding a phone reading online comments. Then someone brings a 100-pound bag and breaks the table.
Chosen answer: His name is Jon Dore. He has several stand up specials on TV.
Searching name for a movie for a VERY long time. In 80s/90s time frame I think. This I remember: the boy hits/shoots his girlfriend's dad (doesn't die I think, I think dad abuses her). The boy and girlfriend are on the run on the roads, very mushy sand, have sex in a car, police are after them (i think her father reported them). The police chase them, they hide in a bank/store/cafe, the boy tells his pregnant girlfriend to stay when he decides to go out and meet them, he is circled by cops and gets shot to death when he takes out a gun. The girlfriend cries when she sees it through the window. I would be forever grateful for the help to find this movie. Thanks.
Chosen answer: This sounds like the movie "Wisdom" from 1986, starring Emilio Estevez and Demi Moore.

Chosen answer: There are several movies with that plot, but the closest you describe is Frozen with Fear (2001). Bo Derek plays a woman unable to leave her home after the murder of her husband and child. After hiring a private detective to investigate, she is forced to flee, when the killer comes for her.
