I'm looking for a Christmas film that starts out with a boy noticing that one of the reindeer in the Christmas lights is missing. The film ends something along the lines of a group of people rescuing the missing reindeer from a pound in a pick up truck. I think it dates from the late 90s to the early 2000's.

Answer: Sounds like the movie Prancer Returns.

There is a movie about a girl who is raised by the murderer who killed her parents in a car accident. Then she married him, I am not sure about the marriage part. I am trying to find this movie, can anybody please help me?

Pk

Answer: If the girl had a younger brother and the man had a physician/addict wife, it is probably The Glass House (2001?). The man made sexual advances towards the girl and set her up to look guilty and making false reports, but there was no marriage.

I'm trying to remember a black/white film where a man is diagnosed to live only several months. He decides to make a worthwhile time of it, and leads a happy life only to find out he is not mortally ill cause there was a mix-up, only to die in an accident.

Answer: "Last Holiday" (1950) with Alec Guinness. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0042665/.

A movie with a gang of black kids - one of them shot some people, it might have been by accident. The kid was still in school and he liked his teacher - his teacher thought he was a great student but he couldn't go on the class field trip with them because of what he did. I can't remember the movie. It's a pretty old movie, maybe around 1990's.

1970's - 80' TV movie. Actors in a small town help police to catch a man who murdered his wife by taking roles such as the butcher.

Chosen answer: It is two movies, One of my Wives is Missing (1976) and the remake Vanishing Act (1986). Both were written and produced by the team behind the TV series, Murder, She Wrote.

I just cannot remember the name of this film. I believe it begins with a boy coming out of school, observed by a shadowy figure in a fedora hat. The boy attends the funeral of his father and again the shadowy figure is watching. He lives with his pregnant mother and stepfather (works on the trains). The shadowy figure turns up at their house and it is his father, who's not dead. At some point the boy and mother go to his teacher's house where she lends him a camera of her deceased husband. Boy goes off with father (and possibly newborn sibling) and father is chased by police (I think). They stay in a deserted warehouse (possibly down in London). Eventually he returns home to mother, and I think the film ends with the boy going to the cinema to see a film. I think it was set in the 1940s, and definitely in Britain. Please help!

I am looking for a movie of which I remember very little. In the climax, an old man poisons his victim but before dying, the victim manages to take a photo of himself. The murderer then stuffs the body in a wardrobe. He is caught when his photos are developed.

I'm looking for a movie (probably made for TV) that has a rich kid hiring a smart kid to attend college for him so his father won't disinherit him for failing one more time. Only saw the beginning of it. 1970-1980 time frame.

Chosen answer: Sounds like "Making the Grade" starring Judd Nelson, which came out in 1984 http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0087666/.

I'm trying to figure out what a movie is that I watched as a child. It looked like it was a 60's maybe 70's movie. A woman starts rolling around in brown stuff and bubbly foam stuff that is gushing out of the walls filling what looks like a round living room.

Answer: Sounds like you're thinking of the movie version of the musical 'Tommy': https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ThyvUpVlHhA.

There was a black-and-white comedy movie about a man and a woman who believe that they are brother and sister. One of the constant running gags in the movie is how the man discovers and constantly tries to tell people that there are 13 dead bodies in the cellar. The end of the movie has the woman trying to tell the man the same thing but he informs her that she isn't really his sister. They drive off together while a cop at the house shouts after them that he's a little teapot.

Answer: "Arsenic And Old Lace" (1944) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0036613/. You can watch the trailer here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GCWBDwkhGN0.

There was a movie about a black man who was accused of murder. He gets two separate trials but both of his trials end with him being found guilty because all jury members at both trials were all white. While in prison he refuses to wear striped prison clothes or have a prison number. The warden eventually gives him some white pajamas to wear with no prison number.

Answer: "The Hurricane" (1999) with Denzel Washington. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0174856/.

I am looking for a Christmas movie where the mother is dead and the father is a radio producer in a small town, where they all lost the Christmas spirit, and the young daughter sings on the radio and brings back the Christmas spirit.

Answer: That is the movie Santa Paws 2: The Santa Pups.

I'm looking for a movie that I used to watch when I was a kid, probably mid 1990's. I believe it's about two girls who are best friends - they both go to this cave near the ocean and one of the girls gets her foot caught under a big rock and can't move. The tide is coming in so the girl almost drowns, but the girl's best friend comes and brings help.

Answer: The movie is called Gold Diggers: The Secret of Bear Mountain.

I am looking for a real tear jerker my siblings watched together. It was made before the 1970's. It may be a British film because they can't name any of the actors. The story is about a poor man who lives with his small and beloved dog. The man has taught the dog many tricks and that is how they make a living in the street or park. A little rich girl sees the dog doing tricks and asks her father to hire them for her birthday party which is a big hit. The little girl wants the dog and her father offers to buy the dog. The poor man refuses the offer to sell his beloved pet. Time goes by and the man gets sick. He recalls the rich man's offer and sells the dog. The dog is depressed at losing his beloved master and will not do any tricks or engage the little girl. The movie pans back and forth between the dying old man and the listless dog who die about the same moment. The man appears on the final scene on the stairway to heaven and the dog appears moments later. They walk up the stairs together. I would love to give this movie to them for Christmas.

Saw this movie about 15yrs ago. It's about a woman whose husband and two daughters were killed at a stoplight. She is looking for the killer and the cop that's helping her end up falling in love with her. I don't believe they ever find out who killed her family. May have been a Lifetime movie.

Breemommy30

Chosen answer: This sounds a lot like the plot of White Noise 2: the Light. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0496436/. Fillion's wife and son were rescued from dying at a railroad crossing/stoplight and then killed later. Fillion then saves Katee Sachoff while trying to find out what happened and they begin to fall in love.

Grumpy Scot

I am looking for this movie I believe had to be between 1996 and 2004, the guy who was in it looked like one of the Baldwin brothers. The ending displayed this man in court getting his verdict of "not guilty" while the scene simultaneously played the murder, where he came from behind the door of a woman's bedroom home and I believe grabbed her mouth and suffocated her.

Lay-Lay Bae

Chosen answer: The Juror.

There is a movie from the 90s, maybe. About a college science teacher who plays Dr. Frankenstein. A student dies and he brings him back. At first the student looks like himself and is still normal but as he dies and is brought back he becomes more grotesque and more like a monster. The doctor is married and has a girlfriend on the side. When the wife finds out she too has an affair with the girlfriend.

Jneedsinfo1

What is the movie where the guy steals something from a woman and her mother then gives it to his sister as a wedding gift and it possesses her? (If it helps, the woman's mother did not speak English).

Does anyone know the name of the movie with a woman stuck in a house and she can't go outside. As soon as she steps out something strange happens to her. She can't breathe or walk, so she has to go back in. I was able to watch only the last 15 min of the movie years ago. But as far as I remember, her body was lying in a hospital room and somehow a doctor was trying to send her a message to make her "choose." I can barely remember that she was having a flashbacks about a guy and a baby that died in that house. After the flashbacks she got the "message" and made her "choice" and was able to go out of the house without the strange things. Hope someone can help. Thanks in advance.

Aysen Yoruk

Chosen answer: There are several movies with that plot, but the closest you describe is Frozen with Fear (2001). Bo Derek plays a woman unable to leave her home after the murder of her husband and child. After hiring a private detective to investigate, she is forced to flee, when the killer comes for her.

I'm trying to find the name of a movie I saw maybe 15 years ago. It was a comedy about a cop who got told he had a disease meaning he had x amount of time to live. He found out his work insurance only paid out if he got killed on the job so he spent ages trying to get shot by bad guys but kept failing. At the end it is found out that his records were mixed up with a bus driver's.

The_Iceman

Chosen answer: Short Time (1990) with Dabney Coleman.
