The Pledge

Continuity mistake: When Jack Nicholson is driving his truck through the field in a rush to get to the church to save the little girl, you see the truck bouncing through the bumps. In some scenes, the truck has crash bars in the front, then they disappear, and reappear again.

Continuity mistake: The Isuzu truck is always dirty - covered with mud, except the long shot of him driving his boat to the lake. The truck is shiny clean, then he's at the lake for a sunny day fishing, but when he drives away (without the boat) the truck is dirty again.

Continuity mistake: In the very last scene, we see a train passing behind Jack Nicholson's Gas station. Earlier in the movie he is saying how much he appreciates the big fields behind the house where Lori's daughter can play. Where are those fields?

Continuity mistake: When Jack Nicholson tends to Robin Penn Wright's wounds after she is beaten up by her ex-husband, he holds a Q-Tip to her busted lip and soaks up the blood. When the camera cuts back again to Nicholson, the Q-Tip is clean again, with no sign of blood at all.
